Older BMW's still cost a lot for maintenance issues, and it appears as though you're on a budget (I could be wrong though)

a.) hondas under 100k miles = at least 6-7 stacks (and thats cheap)

b.) im not looking for a car to last me forever, im looking for a 2 to 3 year type car...with no payments....after that i will hopefully have a real job and can pay a note and such again....

i had a whip with a note, totaled it....trynna avoid payments....about to have a lump of cash, desperately need a car....

im lookin for something i can drive 2-3 years....

saw this online, figured i'd ask NT for input....
I feel you...

Man, honestly...I'd still try and grab a Honda, Nissan or Toyota....any of those. You can grab an Accord or Civic for around that price on Craigslist, and since cash is king, if they want $5K or so, talk 'em down....they'll change their tune once you wave it in their face

Even if the Honda or Toyota has high miles, maintenance and repairs will be far cheaper than a BMW. Its the smarter choice if you're on a budget and don't want to worry about expensive upkeep.

Check 'em out, and offer a low amount than what they're askin...9/10, they're not firm on it, and you can save some bread and put it towards any future repairs and such

just, for emphasis, even the ones cam posted weren't under 100k

i feel you on the cost of repair though, service for my volvo was some bs....

are bmws not well engineered or something?

i was told, when i researched for my volvo, them ++%@@ last WELL into the 250k range....

i copped it at 87k, when i totaled it, it was at 112k

i figured i'd be straight with this cheap @!% bmw cause they're made well, i guess not...(noone is trying to "ball" copping a 15 year old car for >4k, ftr)
