, I went to Lake Worth High..almost went to Santaluces if I didn't do magnet.
Something similar happened at LW when I was there (except this girl made a very racist comment in person and it spread throughout the school like wildfire)..the girl needed a security escort to classes for months.
It's sad to see this type of ignorance ANYWHERE, but it's crazy to see it within a school less than two miles from me.

outside of school on social networking sites. All I've heard is they're working on finding a way to discipline the two girls and security has been extremely tight on the campus.

They're possibly right, unfortunately. Grew up around racist people and now some of them are going to be lawyers/politicians etc.
I'm aware that many people in power are racist and prejudiced. But how many of them post a video online of them openly shooting down another race?
It's one thing to be selective and racist in your actions, and it's another to openly and publicly state your hatred of another group of people (especially one that is prevalent in the country, like Blacks).

This is exactly what it is. A matter of being smart vs stupid. These girls are stupid, as they publicly broadcasted their ignorance. The people who are in charge, racist or not, are in that position because they're smart and know when and what to say how they feel. The girls will eventually do some other dumb +@$# and say something aloud that'll set their careers back, if not get them fired all together.
Assuming they dont work at the local fast food joint well into their lives, I refuse to subject myself to the demands of these ignorant racists and I hope no one else subjects themselves as well.
Sidenote: Cant believe they're from my hometown
