This particular Joe's Crab Shack is getting rid of tipping and paying their employees more
The wage hike will only raise prices up to 15%

Fancy restaurant located at Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Ordered a salad, burger, fries, and drink.
Waited half an hour for the food.
The salad had brown leaves. Refused to eat it.
The burger and fries were cold. Refused to eat it.
Told the waitress to bring my check and remove everything but the drink.
Still asked for a tip.

My mindset also. And if I have to order off a QR code, prepay and wait for my food to be available at the counter or brought to me I'm not tipping for service that may or may not be up to par. Sorry it's not the pandemic anymore.

but i went out to eat last week
my friends were already there so had them place an order for me and my bud
we get there and the potatoes i had ordered were already out and we waited a few minutes for the food
the potatoes came out way before we got there it turns out and were cold af
i asked the lady nicely, i know we came late but these are super cold is it posisble to get em reheated
and she said uhhhhh lemme ask
but i guess she had em made fresh again
so i was happy af cuz they were fire, gave her an extra 20 bucks on the side as well as 18% gratuity, she was really happy and i was really satisfied too

The easy target is minium wage. The issue is the cost of living and real wages have not kept up. Housing costs are out of control. Population has skyrocketed in cities with finite resources.
