on the demo, in the second map, how do you take down that chainsaw dude!
So i just played the Resident evil 5 demo..

it's a shame though, RE went from 3rd person survival horror to 3rd person action adventure/shooter.. but still buying this game!!!

Demo ends today to DL free for XBOX Live Gold members, and Amazon delayed my 13 mth card I bought 3 weeks ago ($30 sale) for no given reason. Still hasn'tcome in the mail.

And what's with this early preview for Gold only on just a demo? Not a good trend.
Re-up that soon for everyone Microsoft.
Picked up RE:4 back week of release way back when. Had to be the best GC single-player game by far. Played PS2 version a couple times, just mercenary mode andthe sound was buggin'. You couldn't hear the chainsaw guy come up on you too well in terms of area sound - as in able to hear him coming your way andstart jetting to a good vantage point location to take him out. Sound wouldn't get louder as he approached, just the same lv anywhere he was on the map.Never tried Wii version.

the only resident evil that was trash IMO was that one that came out in a first person view
the rest of them were pure crack... RE4 was
esp after you beat the game then play that time crisis type joint

Honestly, I cant wait till RE5 comes out for the Wii. RE4 on the Wii was pure crack. the way you can control the aiming and stuff so accurately with the wiiremote was amazing

played the demo last night. last resident evil game i played was 1 on gamecube, but i had fun with this one. definitely a lot more fun when its co-op

i was never a HUGE re fan, but i will check this out.

If you're a fan of Resident Evil, you probably can't wait for March 13th, when Resident Evil 5 is released and the latest installment in the survival horror franchise hits consoles. Luckily, PS3 owners can get a taste of what to expect from the game today, as the Resident Evil 5 demo hits the PSN. In a post on PlayStation.Blog, Shawn Baxter from Capcom mentioned that the demo will feature two different stages from the game. It will also have at least two different control settings and two separate co-op settings: one for split-screen co-op for local players and online co-op over the PSN.
