So Is Tom Cruise Unanimous G.O.A.T.?

He gets hate just because of his religion? Ridiculous.

He's had some pretty great roles throughout his career. And he'll continue to flourish.

Also. MI3 > MI4

Something about Tom saving Michelle Moynahan from Philip Seymour Hoffman gave me the feels. And probably has to do alot with Hoffman being in the movie himself, I legit hated him in the movie. Amazing actor rip.

I agree. Two of my favorite movie characters of all time.

If Tom Cruise can be considered GOAT, you gotta throw Vin Desiel in the conversation...

Tom Hanks >

Although Tom Cruise is appreciated he's not seeing Hanks as an actor.

Forrest Gump > any movie Cruise has done.

Although Edge of Tomorrow was dope and the girl in that movie was smoking :hat

Aside from Tropic Thunder, Tom plays the same person in every movie doe....

Never understood that logic.

When has Hanks ever stepped away from Romantic Comedy or Drama?

See what happened to Will Smith when he forgot his place? :lol

90% of actors know and stay in their lanes.

Its not the type of MOVIE the actor is in, its the type of CHARACTER the actor plays in said movie.

Forrest Gump is a drastically different person Chuck Nolan(The character from Castaway).

Tom Cruise constantly plays the same type character. Tom always plays "Tom" in different scenarios, as Denzel always plays Denzel and Vin Diesel always plays Vin Diesel.

Tom even has a signature move he throws in ever movie.

Tom Cruise movies put me to sleep.

I cant remember a movie with him that kept me engaged the whole time. Maybe the one with him and Jamie Foxx but I dont even remember what the hell that was about.

80s/90s tom cruise > 2000+ tom cruise

Top gun is one of the greatest movies of all time.

Cocktail, born on the 4th, outsiders, rain man, days of thunder, color of money, few good men, etc etc

Tom's got hits after hits after hits.

I think people aren't getting the point. It's not about who's the better actor, but who puts out the consistently entertaining movies. I can count on a good spy or sci fi flock from Cruise annually

This.

I think Cruise is the most consistent actor making movies. He's not going to give you Oscar caliber performances, but everything he drops (when he stays whithin his means) is at least watchable, and usually enjoyable.

Yall realize actors dont write movies, right?

This aint sports. The star doesnt make everything better.

^ I'd say putting the right person in the right role is at least, and often more important than a good script or screenplay.

Alot of times they do. Without Liam Neeson, taken would be straight to dvd and Netflix. But he made the movie better.

Jack reacher with like Vin Diesel just doesn't work.

Off the top of the dome......

INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE

Come to think of it, I can't think of a single tom cruise movie that I didn't like, and I'm being dead serious. Dude is like the Troy Aikman of movies. Maybe not the GOAT talent wise but he gets results.

The roles he's turned down in his career are better than 90% of what most A-list actors have even done.

Because Vin Diesel doesn't play that character.

Do you really believe Liam Neeson is the only one that could have pulled of Taken, or are you saying that because thats how you know Taken and you really cant picture anyone else? You really thing Denzel couldn't have done Taken? Have you not seen Man on Fire or The Equlizer. Hell Tom could've pulled of Taken

What I'm saying is that Neeson made taken interesting instead of the crap it was.

And you're the wrong person to be asking about Denzel. I happen to think those movies suck and Denzel is at his best when he's not playing denzel

All I'm saying is it's a bit more complicated that "actor is the best because actor is in the best movies".
