Is it really that much of a shock that kids today do this? Myspace and facebook are just other ways kids try to show how original and unique their lives are. Tat's are the same thing. I mean you really don't look at your body that much through out a day, so who else are these tats for? It's for other peoples approval.
If you really have to have something drawn on your body, just get it on paper, frame it and put it on your wall. Then you'll actually have something interesting to say when someone comes to your place. You can explain to them how you had this stupid idea of getting this put on your body for life, but then you used reasoning skills to make a smarter decision.
