The new CW of beckham's [retail] preds. powerspine plate, no fancy artwork on the instep....

new photoshop of the france nike kit....

and another of the 2011/12 barça kit. apparently the board has already approved the design (it will reportedly have solid sleeves, and the board turned down nike's proposal to use vertical stripes with faded edges like internazionale uses). link to story (el mundo deportivo)....

wow, both those kits are garb.

the beckhams are a bit plain but not bad. just can't wear the predators cuz they are narrow this year.

Adizero Prime's have been officially unveiled on SoccerBible.  Only colorway I remotely like (they are dubbing it the messi colorway, different stud layout)

Tech Info:
Lighter then the Previous I believe (correct me if I am wrong) Old Adizero's were 5.8 Ounces and these weigh in at 145gs or 5.11 Ounces

"The single layer synthetic material returns to improve the boots' second skin feel, and has been upgraded to be thinner and lighter than the previous model and also features an engineered grain for enhanced ball control and touch. Perhaps the most obvious benefit is the zero water uptake - meaning this cleat doesn't get heavy even in wet conditions."

they wanna bring this team back. i read somewhere that they want to revive the cosmos to make them a second team in ny. they want to build a cosmos and red bulls rivalry.

The Cosmos thing happened some time last year. You can buy the jerseys on PDS, Soccer.com, WorldSoccerShop, and a few other sites. My understanding is that they are hoping to eventually make a professional club that would qualify for the MLS. The Cosmos Academy West is already ranked #1 in the U14 division, and one of their U17/U18 players was the US Development Academy Nation Player of the Year. Here's info on the two developmental clubs they've already created:

"The New York Cosmos have created unique and powerful partnerships with BW Gottschee of Queens, NY and Los Angeles Futbol Club to create Cosmos Academy (East) and Cosmos Academy (West) respectively."

Predators are slowly peaking my interest.

I might have to break off some to get the current Barca authentic top w/Pujol namesake, before the new sponsor.

i didn't like the adipure IVs at first, but they're definitely growing on me. i'm sure that kaka and lampard (the line's two biggest stars) getting fit helped that out. i can't confirm, but it looks like xavi alonso is sticking with the III - for now. not sure what yoann gourcuff will do as he's still injured. i'm considering returning my IIIs for the IV, but no retailer in the US is selling the IV in a white colorway with an SG plate; soccer.com told me that they're not going to carry them because the demand for SG boots is so low.

now that internazionale have won the fifa club world cup, they're sporting five patches across the chest! coppa italia, scudetto (serie A champs), nike swoosh, club world cup champs, club badge. a little too much clutter for me; i would have moved the domestic patches to the sleeves.
