I've had a Kangaroo burger too, so I gotta at least be able to get a custom K-Leather pair from Nike. The K-Leather ban is so dumb. Like Cali farms and others across USA don't have calves in tiny enclosures. At least adidas has transitioned to calf leather.

Any of y'all mess with grip socks? If so which ones? I had a pair of TruSox for about two years maybe and really liked them. I started getting blisters bad and attributed it to the lack of cushioning from the socks (they were just too old). Ended up buying a new pair of Tru Sox and have had to go through three pair already. No new pair has lasted more than one game before some sort of hole formed somewhere in the sock (mostly the seam at the toes).

Ordered the volt Vapor 16 AG (finally a decent color for AG) from NDC. Let's see how it is.

I've been converted to Wefoot grip socks and highly recommend them. Far better than TruSox which always gave me blisters no matter the playing conditions. These are lighter, thinner, and built better; my personal preference is the Skin Fit (light padding) but the Cushion Fit (more padded) are good too. I can DM you a discount code if interested.

Just pulled the trigger on some mizuno alpha elite's in the japan blue (will post pics when they come in)

Wrapped up our season last night with an awkard draw in the championship game. The game was 0-0 in overtime and the lights at the field went off. It was 11:30pm. Our game started at 9:15. We just said oh well its a draw. But proud of our team we won the second division last season and got promoted this season and made it to the championship. I missed two chances, should have burried one but goalie made a good save the second was iffy. But still felt i could have won it for us.

Anyway. Saw some leaks of the New Balance Furon v8 and they look solid. No lace cover. I played most of the season with my V7s and love them. Still might grab another pair for the low. Unisport has them for ~$110 in the blue colorway.

I know some of you were saying how the gripknit on the phantom gx was different on each colorway with some being grippier than others. Seems it's the same with the tiempos. The raised dots on the silvers are not as grippy as on the blacks.

And the fields aren’t available so they are trying to get us to go on a Thursday night when we normally play Monday’s. Which is causing heartache. Long story short might just be a draw. Which is fine for me since PKs are kind of meh.

Basically. It is run by your county. They knew the lights were on timers but no one communicated it to the refs that we should have just gone to PKs right away. The refs were all "the rule book states two 10 min overtimes"....common sense was not used

Undecided right now on the Mizuno alpha Elite (AG plate). The website said they were 200gs. I weighted them at 229G the exact same as my New Balance Furon V7s (Ag plate). I had hoped they would be lighter because its hard to top my NBs. They also definitely fit long. I got them in a US 10.5 as i am usually between a 10.5 and 11. But the 10.5 is still a little long i wish i could try a 10 to see. But they are pretty close to the same lenglty as my Phantom GXs which are a US11.

right now leaning toward putting them on ebay and taking a small L. I paid $140 out the door at unisport so might list them for that and see. But might take them out for a run. They do feel nice but they are a little bottom heavy and the upper is not as soft as my Furon's and at the same weight i can't see myself picking these over them
