I think I need to find a man maybe 32 and older. Most men I have come across in their late 20s are not ready to settle down, are just looking for that one thing, and don't have stable careers yet.

I don't like the fact that people don't HAVE to figure it out and just improve their social skills. I know it is easier for some than others but just being able to avoid it completely and just go online and search for a mate. Just doesn't help your social skills grow. It is damn near normal now

DC, I agree with you. I find the men here, unless they are super trashed, don't approach you as easily.

The best way to meet a significant other is probably through work, library, coffee shops, social events, friends,etc. As for me, I am just too lazy to be more assertive in meeting men here and I do talk to men here and there, but just not feeling anyone. Because of a past relationship that burned me, I am very guarded and have quite high standards. Not accepting any +*#$%*@%.

DC, I agree with you. I find the men here, unless they are super trashed, don't approach you as easily.

i'm turning 26 in June and I gotta say my social skills are def rusty, on top of that as much as I want a girl...I really don't because I enjoy the freedom. Thing is if I really get to know a girl meaning we're friends first and we click then forget my freedom...i'm all in.
