I hoping since hes young and has a lot of money and ability to do what ever he wants. He educates himself and become a better rapper. If he works on it (likeif hes really commited) he could pull it off.

But the stuff posted is pretty wack, but slightly better then his older stuff.

It's not that "these cats ain't tryna heard" you, it's that this guy is straight up wack. It's not hating for the sake of hating,it's that this guy seriously cannot rap. Remember when people (it might have even been him) posted that video on here of that song that had the hook thatjust said "I got me some bathing apes" over and over and over? Almost everyone on here were right when they dissed him. Now that he's been aroundfor a few more years and the 12 year olds then that were too young to really care about any of this have matured, they talk about him like he has some kind ofskill.

and come up with another big single... why try to be a MC when thats not payin the bills... he's not nas,jigga,lupe etc...

I couldn't find the original post on here, but I found the video on youtube. I had the hook completely wrong, though - it's "I got me somebapes." You guys can whine and cry all you want about how "he's come a long way from this," but all you have to do islisten to anything that is ever posted on here and you will hear that he has not changed at all.

Good music is good music when it is good - not when it has sold x amount of copies.

Gangstarr has never gone platinum. Tell me that somehow reflects on how good they are/were.

Lots of bad people throughout history have had a lot of followers - that does not legitimize their goals.

I don't go out of my way to diss this or any other kind of music. But, if somebody comes on here and posts something that I have an opinion about, thenI'm going to post my opinion.

yall hate for days. typical NTer response regarding  soulja boy  is something along the lines of "i respect him gettin money but he's a horrible rapper".
dude aint the best, he's still young, he's gettin better and he's entertaining.
and i guarantee that any of the verses that souljaboy spits, if gucci said those exact same lines all yall would go bananas
