I think it's inevitable with the Nova Corps existence, Gunn just insists that Peter be the only human in GotG1 & 2 but he's a definite possibility for the future but then again he could be redundant with Cap Marvel in the MCU.

Ahhh there you go. Interesting if they do add Nova to do the MCU.

There was all kinds of talk Nova was going to be in Guardians. Makes sense since we are getting Carol and Kamala. 

I like Nova a lot. I had hoped it wouldn't be the kid, but they have had animated cross overs for awhile now with the teen versions, so I will take Nova however I can get at this point.

I want Spider-Gwen something bad.

@RFX45  Feige mentioned it sometime last year after JJ blew up on Netflix and they were starting to cast Danvers. They wanted more female oriented heroes, and they have been juggling doing Squirrel Girl (which she will show up in Runaways now I believe) Kamala as a Capt. Marvel they can utilize on their TV universe, and I think one more (Maybe She Hulk).
