In all honesty, that decision to kick the field goal with 1:54 left to cut the deficit to 4 just sealed the fate of Mike Nolan's status as head coach fornext season. I understand that they got the ball back with a little over a minute left to give them a chance to win, but! That decision...

1.) Gave the ball back to the Rams who milked the clock down to 1 minute.
2.) Pushed the 49ers back in field position.
3.) Had the Niners failed on 4th down they still would've had advantage in field position.
4.) THEY STILL NEEDED A TOUCHDOWN!

I can't wait to see who is going to fill the position of Head Coach and OC

The crowd was angry, my friends. People were wearing paper bags over their heads and old women were screaming profanities at the coach's booth.

This game was pathetic. I fell asleep at my girls dorm watching this game. The only bright spot for this whole season is our Defense. It's on the fieldmore than half the game but simply stop the rams today.

--Gore seems to be playing with no heart. Doesn't seem he is too into it now.
-- Our Wideouts Dropped 3 game winning passes ( Vernon Davis, and 2DJAX)
-- Our play calling is still horrible. Running Draws on 3rd down KILLS ME. WHY NOT THROW?
-- Lelie is a Cancer on our team. He is being paid 3 million to play maybe 9 plays and talks down and bad on the team constantly

I don't see much hope even in the future. i can't see any headcoach besides Nolan wanting this job.

we have the worst stadium in football, the worst owner, probably the worst team in football.

yeyyy, 2 in a row!!! That was an ugly game but whatever, ANY win this season is cool in my book. Maybe the Rams can go 4-12 or maybe just maybe finish out theseason at 5-11 or better!!!

just got home from SF for the game. all i can say is...

- we have the worst Offensive Coordinator in history. Wow.
- The Defense gave us a chance to win it all the way to the end
- Darrell Jackson blew it big time on that wide open catch
- the 49ers need to switch back to the plain red jerseys
- I did not agree with the last field goal call either
- oh, i hate darrell jackson for dropping that pass.

there are so many problems with this team i dont know where to start.

NINERS SUCK

heres what they always do on offense

1st Down- Run up the middle with gore (O-line sucks) yards gained -1
2nd Down- A short pass play to a boo-boo receiver (probably gore) yards gained 1
3rd Down- A long pass play that goes for an incomplete because nobody is open...(i wonder why???) yards gained 0
4th Down- Punt. (even when in need of a big score)

Nolan doesn't do the playcalling.
Yea But he is the head coach. He makes the final decision. He can tell the OC what he wants run. there are times when the Head Coach MUST step inand make an executive decision. thats why he gets paid more then his staff.

I remember when Mike Martz was OC for Rams and **** Vermeil would grab head sets and tell him what he needs and what he wants run. In the end, Its the headcoach's responsibility

The offense needs a complete revamp in the off-season, new quarterback, new offensive coordinator, new O-line, new receivers, new everything. The defensetried to keep the 49ers in the game as much as possible, but the the offense has got to score touchdowns to put some points on the board.

Gore seems to be playing with no heart. Doesn't seem he is too into it now.

It could be because he's still suffering from the lose of his mother earlier this season, but I see what you mean though.
