Can't believe I'm going to have to cop a PS4 for this game only. Never been a fan of PS series but it looks like

He's the one who mentioned V trigger mechanic back in december.
16 characters makes sense with how unique each character is but I hope for more at launch after coming from Ultra's lineup.
If it is 16 characters, with 6 confirmed and 4 new then that's only 6 left.
The storyline is in between 3 and 4 so you'll probably get some SFIII characters and new character/s from SFIV and I'm guessing some og world warriors.
Still though, Birdie is in the roster so who knows what
Good to hear the story is a priority too but hopefully there's a nice single player campaign or world tour mode.
Still rumors so take with a grain of salt but he's obviously connected to someone at Capcom.

Really hate the idea of individual characters as downloadable dlc. I rather new iterations introducing additional characters.

That's where is was getting and trying to make sense of it but it's like c'mon all this mismatch back and forth.
If capcom took the time to make the story mode more interesting it might be ok. But they don't. And SF3 was a good game but it was so popular because they took FOREVER to bring out SFIV

SF3 is overrated. People only started playing 3rd strike around '03-'04, a good 4-5 years after that game dropped. No one touched new generation or 2nd Impact. 3rd strike just got its hype because your choice at that time was either structure with 3rd strike or broken chaos with marvel 2 and the infamous j. Wong/ Daigo evo parry comeback. I don't know why they're making a big deal out the story, it's stupid now. Even more so in the fact that Charlie has been brought back to life. Only interest I have is if capcom takes advantage of those silly rumors of Remy being Charlie's son...

Meh sf3> 4. People hated sf3 because the better players always won. The game has a brutal learning curve and no bs comeback garbage meter. Also super safe fighter 4 FADC IMO ruined the risk reward of the game.

I don't think think it'll be individual characters. It'll be the same model like super, AE and ultra where you get a batch of characters per update.
They're just not going to call it super or Ultra or have re-releases on disks.

Man, I hate FADC making stuff safe so much. My only gripe with SF3 is I'm just not a fan of any of the characters in the game, so I just ended up playing Chun. I love the footsies in the game so much though, so good.

I really don't think FADC was designed to initially work that was but since the game's pace was so slow they needed a way to keep pressure without an overhaul.
