Don't know about any top 5 but Purdy is a solid QB.

Had a drive that put the 9ers in a position to being 4 stops from winning the Super Bowl.

He played well tonight.

9ers didn't lose this game because of him.

QB's imo fit into 3 categories

1. Patrick Mahomes
2. Good enough to a superbowl with
3. Not good enough to win a super bowl with.


Purdy is firmly in category 2.
where he ranks with in that imo is irrelevant.

I cannot recall the last time I’ve seen a Super Bowl game featuring a historically great defensive performance vs. one of greatest QB performances of all time.

Pat Mahomes took that game away from SF.
