yup. LOTS of extremely old-school FOBs are racist and very close-minded. mine included, unfortunately. my family told my american-born cousins and i to only date filipinos and whites.
two of my little cousins live in an area where the majority of the population is mexican and they're always the token asians in their group of friends. my aunt isn't so pleased that they're both dating mexicans.
my other cousin is in montana right now and her boyfriend is white. my family was thrilled when she brought him to california.
i only brought filipino boys home. my family never said anything bad, but they still tell me to be with a white guy from time to time.
that's just how my family is. but my cousins and i know better than to listen to them. as long as the person is has a good character, their ethnicity doesn't matter. love whoever you want.

My family is old-school FOB and harp on about keeping the "bloodline" in tact.
That's too bad because I exclusively date Dominican girls and don't plan on getting married/having kids.

This is true. Met one and as we got to know each other and things got a little intimate and she told me that it could never be anything more than "friends" cause her family would never accept us and they'd cut her off and blah blah blah. I cut her off and she wants us to still be friends, but with benefits. The savage in me would, but its principle. I'm like nah its a dub. She hits me talmbuot lets give it(the relationship) a try and see how it ends up, but I was already turned off so I told her nope and cut her off.

I donno how you guys talk to 19 years old. The youngest girl I talked to was 22 and damn, I felt like my brain cells were dying after.
I'm the token Asian cat. I grew up around Armenians but when we moved to the hood, it was all Hispanics. All I learned was that Hispanic girls are not that hard to finessed, to put it nicely.
I see this Black Girl/Asian Guy trend emerging recently....I've seen all types from the hypebeast skinny jeans and man bun cat to a suited up dude. A couple actually approached me, and one always drove from Long Beach to hang out. She wanted something serious, but I didn't.
From my experience with Asian chicks, they either prefer white/Asians or blacks. I talk to whoever, but the hardest to pull are white chicks for me. I've only got 2 to date, but she was from the UK with the thick accent, and the other had a thing for clean cut Asian cats
FOBs will only mess with their own. The culture clash is just too much. That's point blank. Koreans will usually only date Koreans. My Korean homie from college came from a rich family. Had an imported Skyline and E55 in undergrad (this was like in 2004). Was dating a black chick. Parents thought they were going to break up. Parents asked him to get serious a couple years later. Dude actually married black girl and got disowned by the family. They took the whips back and cut him off financially.
There was a time when I was hanging out with this Korean girl a lot years ago. I used to pick her up. Mind you, I'm a friendly looking dude...clean cut and all. Her dad always gave me the Kobe stare because he thought I had a hidden agenda.
The worst kind of chicks as a whole are the uptight kind. I took this Asian chick out once, and everything was going cool. Sirius radio was playing Future and she flipped it, said something like 'someone at our intellectual level shouldn't be listened to this type of music'. I almost flipped out. If she can't let me listen to trap music, especially Future in the car to get hyped then we don't have a future.

Some guys would be okay with just being FWBs, but it seems like this would be an eventual L.
Consider the alternative: you could've gone along with being FWBs and got some other girls on the side. FWB =/= commitment

She was a cool girl. More of a relationship type.The attraction was there and the chemistry was great. She was serious about school and her career. We kicked it off as friends then one thing lead to a next, cause she started inviting me out with her and friends. We were out at a bar and I started talking to one of her friends and she got jealous and was like "y'all should date, blah blah blah". She started acting funny and then she let it be known she had feelings. We started getting closer then out of the blue she hit me with that foolishness. Talmbout "we could be intimate but it can't be anything more cause her parents would never accept it. By then I had already caught some feels and decided it would be best just to dead her.
