Personally, my trick is to always talk to any female as if i already know them, this makes the initial convo less forced and everything flows smoothly.
Once a females feels that you arent just trying to spit at them they let their guard down and get comfortable around you. Ofcourse this only works if there is already some form of mutual attraction.

Instead of a pick up line, complimenting (you can do this later), proffessional introduction (Hi my name is, hows your day?. I find it easier and less awkward if you dont rehearse what you want to say or memorize lines, that makes you sound dumb nervous.
1. Comment on something small (surroundings, their clothing, w.e they're eating, class, etc)
2. Act "interested" in w.e the **** she says
3. Squeeze in a corny joke.
4. Make believe you're on the run and scoop them digits.

Technically, when I'm hitting on someone I'm really not interested in w.e i comment on, i'm interested in her. Basically, act interested to make it look like a regular convo, but its not.

Having regular convo, when approaching chicks, lowers their defensiveness imo esp. during the night time. It also makes you seem genuinely interested in them. Usually I chop it up with females 10-15 mins and secure the digits, so that I don't waste time on 1 girl, in a social setting, and have time to pull other chicks, opening the opportunity to have multiple options. Unless you're tryna get her home that night, you might as well be swift and have more to talk about next time you see them hopefully. I'm seeing that getting numbers doesn't guarantee the girl's interested.
This chick was digging me and I told her I was probably dipping out to another spot and asked for the number. After I got the digits, she said she's going to go find her friends in the bar and told me to text her. I texted her like an hour later just saying that I'd probably stay at the spot we're at instead. Didn't see her in the bar still so figured she dipped out. Texted her 2 days later basically asking what she ended up getting into and got no response. Will hit her up at the end of the wk, if no response, then she's cancelled. Just hate girls playing games or taking forever to text back, when I know most of them are glued to their phones. I may have to step it up and build the attraction up more next time before locking the digits down.

RE: Building up the attraction. I think this is the move. I like to get to the point that I feel I'm a very memorable and enjoyable portion of the night or day or w/e it is that we were doing and then I cop the digits and dip. A lot of times I play for the one night stand so I invest a lot of time into one on a single night.

naw actually i should of said from oklahoma city lol. ive met her at whole foods. around 8pm we exchanged numbers got a text around 11 asking what i was doing. knew what that meant brought this with me and well yambs were had.
spent the night over there cause im not bought that dui life. and got some mo before i bounced.
