iiljaybe3,
do you know what's going on by any chance since you work there?
damn jv, you got played. but at the same time, thats the reason why i don't pay any attention to rif.la. yellowed indy's for $500? flax's with messed up box for $450? the reason they had to lower those prices and have that sale in the first place is because no one was crazy enough to buy their shoes for those ridiculous prices. as far as popular consignment websites go, rif.la is a distant third to flightclub (also terrible prices) and napsize (more reasonable). just think about it - you have to be doing something wrong to not sell ds pairs of flax mids and indy jewel mids (although the 10.5 that sat there for almost a year seems to be gone now...). the second someone sees a pair of either of those on napsize, they get bought up.
all that being said, i have no intention of offending jeff or jb. jeff has helped me out big time, so i would never rip on him. i'm sure they don't decide when the sales are, and i'm sure they're not the ones that decide when to cancel orders to try and get more money (if that is what happened). i like to think that they are just messengers.

Sorry for the late reply, but to jvhoop22, the af1 mid olympics were actually SOLD before you ordered them, we manually take off the shoes off the site, and there were a few pairs we forgot to take off the site. Our website automatically went back to normal later that day. Also you ordered the cheaper union adidas that came with a shirt, but that also sold before you actually ordered and we had another 10.5 union adidas that was 50.00 more (which you didnt order) and I don't remember any flax's being sold online.
Also to MFPearson,
Thank you for your interest in this argument. As far as consignment we started the business. We have been in the business for 15 years(Tokyo), we are Napsize/LA AVE. Who do you think was supplying Vintagekicks in 03-04? Why do you think Flight Club opened? As far as prices and margins we have little say to what consignment customers want. Our reason for having the sale was to simply make room for more sneakers, new stock. We have over 200 pairs of store stock coming in from Japan in the coming months and we honestly have NO room. Overall we are eating right and with Napsize controlling Europe, La Ave Japan, RIF US we have a pigeon hold on the consignment game. So if your considering US then we are second(napsize) and third, but looking at the world market, la ave/napsize/rif la control the consignment game and our gross will prove it.
