all the pairs of shoes i've sold i thought about and descided that i dont need them that much. havent had a 2nd thought about it yet.

kazi, i'm sticking my middle finger at the monitor.

tyler or anyone else that was watching that auction for the insane 4 pairs of old af1's in my/our size.....did you see that it ended at 250,000 yen? somuch for getting a steal. it was the 2 pairs of highs and 2 pairs of lows from the late 80's/early 90's. i'm pissed that i'm broke but iwouldn't have gone that high even if i had the cash.

a general rule of thumb for nikes is that the actual production cost of a pair of shoes is about a tenth of the retail price.


the jordan 21 samples, for example, had a heelpiece that wrapped down to the midsole but brought the per pair production price to $28.. so it was eliminatedand the per unit price went down to $17..


but to get back to forces.. i doubt the material really costs that much more, but nike set up a 4 tier system for forces - relegating $80 GRs to crappyplastic, while charging higher prices (around $150) for supremes that have "better material" that looks suspiciously like what used to be on GRs.then, above that you have the hyped collabo type stuff that runs in the $200-300 range.. and then the super premium $2k croc forces that of course sat untilthey were reduced to $600.. which is still way too much.


anyway.. pics of some futura collabs have popped up in nike retro and nike forum.. wonder what ya'll think of them.

the correct AF1 tiers is as follows:

Core ($80)
Premium ($100-$150)
Supreme ($151-$250)
Lux ($2000) After the horrible sale of the Anaconda, Crocs, and the All-Star Pack I believe this tier has been removed...

Same here. Just stopping by, looking good in here. That auction is

,those lows are prime beef. Thinking about restarting my hunt here in the next month. There was nothing in 11.0 out there, so I just kind of faded away for abit.

I think that is why most of us would rather spend our money on older rare Forces.
