Wow. I specially enjoyed these. Kids had great trainers too those days.

They were so far the next "episode" to these:

Modzilla, where do you live, if you don't mind me asking?

Wearing shorts in all your pics...making me jealous...still snowing up here in Toronto!

Wow!
That's a (sport) classic collection...
I find no more than 2-3 Js to compare with SC Is (aka IIIs).
Still waiting for better retro CWs though...

Congrats anyway!

Seen at my local mall. Nice, but I wasn't impressed with the glue stain on the the grey suede toe box.

Anyone with 2002 era chlorophylls or even the 08s/09s, I have a question for you.. Near the toebox forefoot flex area where natural creasing is occurring, the grey "nubuck" or whatever material you want to call it, it's starting to crack and FLAKE. Flaking much like you would see out of vintage 1990 era nikes or jordans. Like your JB VIs or VIIIs. That sort of flaking.. These are doing that but only in one spot.. Soon it looks like itll just form a hole.. And also the black leather is starting to crack right where the double stitch pattern is on the forefoot area.

This is my first experience seeing this sort of thing. I have 2000 era shoes that do none of that. These are aging at a rapid rate. Am I alone?

It's just so crazy. I have never seen a shoe age so badly. I picked up brand new in 2005. Didnt wear until 06, and even then Its not like I wore them everyday. 25 wears tops in these. They've been stored away in their box like any other shoe. I have DS shoes from 2000 that haven't aged in this fashion. But this shoe just wants to age so badly.

Black "leather" decided to just crack in this area. Seems like the more its worn, the worse it will become.
Right shoe

Left shoe is having that flaking/cracking right in the crease area.

I just opened that box up for the first time in 5-6 months and was shocked at what I saw

Definitely has a vintage look and I can't sell them. I guess I can truly beat these into the ground before it does it to itself
