It would be like trying to glue a sand castle together, you would have to have glue on every single particle of sand for it to not crumble away...
The only thing you could do is find a donor pair and rip the upper off and glue those uppers onto the donor midsole... Thats the ONLY thing you could do...

^I agree, but i'm sure that there hasn't been a neon air bag 97/tuned air max/whatever other hybrid in a while. Silver and/or black air bags, you should be able to find though

my 1st pr of Pool 95s are in exactly the same state. such a shame with the uppers being practically new. I should, but I can't throw them away... they're my fave 95s.

happy bday V (damn you're young), sorry I didn't make it to the rack this weekend, but maybe during the week, we're finally into some spring weather here so I might feel like taking a drive this week.

first day of registration for summer and fall classes = makes my job hell. but at least I can look forward to the final four this weekend. I got Michigan State in my work pool so I got a shot at winning it all! too bad my Nuggets are on a path to destruction right now.

Been a long weekend. Had a couple of awesome pickups Non AM Related. Im working on a pair of Black Patta TZ's right now. Dont know If I fully trust the seller yet.
Battleground- You make me want to take the chance on this seller with those pics.
Eentegra- Great Pickup on the 03 Triax. My brother had a pair back in 02 that I loved. The white/Red/black pair.
Dreads- Nice ID's- Stash Inspired?
Denver- Nice Obsidians! Im sure they are wearable. I wore a pair of 98 Crystal Blues around like nothing. I defogged the air units and they held up fine.
Gooey- You have an awesome hot streak going. Let me know when you want to get rid of those 99 Navy AM1's.
Modzilla- Nice Maxims and Courderoy Pattas.

jay - like everyone else said, the 97's are done for. Sucks too, very nice shoe especially with the fatty bubbles.
Honestly, the 97 midsole is one that the smaller bubbles in retro versions isn't as noticeable (until they're side by side like in jay's pic
). I think that's why I want a 98 retro so bad, it would be one shoe that Nike (hopefully) couldn't screw up too bad. Plus 98s are just amazing period
. I guess with the 97 it's because the full length bubble is continuous and is naturally thin toward the forefoot, so that when they make the heel volume smaller it is more gradual and doesn't jump out at you like in 95 and especially Burst/93 units.

Those JD 95s look very nice indeed. Not in the coming soon section though huh?....Lets hope they drop. I'd imagine they have to eventually if theyre pictured.
Oh and for any Fam members who are fans of the Tailwind 2010s, specifically the neon colorway, I heard Niketowns marked them down recently. I havent confirmed the price, visually or over the phone, but just a heads up to those who were thinking about copping a pair.
