You can only compare players in their eras and the reality is was fine to miss as many shots as kobe did in 99-2010.

now not so much now, but then cool.

Same thing with Tommy Hienson and Havlecheik.

Year imma have to block somebody never thought I would but I can't take it

He's averaging 25. If he wanted to, he could hang on for a few more years.

With Age he wont be averaging 25 per game. It would take him 7 more seasons to reach Kareem. Aint happenin

I didn't say he's passing Kareem... But what you said is he's done next year.

He's averaging 25. He could average 25 again next year, and then slowly decline in PPG like all guys do at the end.

For example. If he plays 73 games this season at 25, it's 1,000 points.
65 games at 25 ppg next season, 1625 points
65 games at 20 ppg in 2016-17, 1300 points
60 games at 15 ppg in 2017-18, 900 points

He'll be 1,252 points away.

If Kobe can finish the year strong and be healthy next season to pass Malone i think he plays another year or two to pass Kareem. I want him to :wow:

25 ppg the rest of the season gives him another 1450 points.

25/game next year gives him another 2050.

33010+1450+2050=36510. That'd put him roughly 300 behind Malone for 2nd and 1877 behind Kareem or approximately 23 ppg in the year after his contract ends. Can't see him walking away if he's still able to play at a reasonably high level.
