no they just made that up, it's an incredibly effective marketing strategy, it taps right into the outsider mentality most basketball fans feel in Canada.
Theres kind of this divivde, young people especially people of colour are into the raptors and old people from the suburbs are into the leafs.

Overrated defender? I don't think people view him as All NBA defense but he is most definitely solid to good. Throw him in there with Ariza and you have a pretty nice wing duo to defend
He just needs to hit occassional shots in that Rockets offense
