if you add up all the times this season that he's walked back on defense, he's already taken two weeks off

I wonder what's wrong with his knee.. 2 weeks aint ****. He not gonna be back 100% in 2 weeks, no matter what the issue is. Dwade literally had months of rest last year for his knees, it equated to a bag of ****. Rest is really overrated in sports when it doesn't come in abundance. Like a summer off. 2 weeks is how long the kids get off for winter break.

You a pro athlete?

:{ @ you comparing his knees to wade

Illl give cousins a pass for that. :lol

The amount of abuse and engergy he has to take just to establish post possion is crazy sometimes.

u wilin. 2 weeks is PLENTY of time to rest a sore knee or whatever. its not like he blew a ligament. but a sprain or soreness? definitely enough time. ur talking about lebron (who i cant stand so dont say im caping) whos rarely been injured in his entire career right? im sure if he finally is taking weeks off... he knows he needs it.

Depends on what that soreness is from. His minutes have been down. He's been giving less effort. he was off all summer. soreness could be tendonitis. could be general soreness from age and usage. Either way, rest is misconstrued in sports. They speak of it like something you can hold, and save. Like you can just store rest somewhere and pull from it when you need it. Like 'leave me in coach, I'm all rested up from july'. That's not how our bodies work though. Energy is finite. No matter what you do. Conditioning will take you far, body, endurance, but the amount of energy you have, is all you have. There are no rollover minutes. You can literally sleep for 24 hours...and still get tired tomorrow.

I played sports, all of my life. A lot of my friends are professional athletes, in that field, or in the medical field. I know a little bit.

just like a body wont heal in that short amount of time, the mind wont be able to learn much from only two weeks worth of lessons. lebrongs going to return just as washed as 2014 and his team still wont know how to play basketball the right way
So why do people take vacations? Or rehab? I mean if two weeks isn't going to do nothing then why do it anyways?

SMH yall trolls not even creative.

You can't move the Hawks. Atlanta got too many strip clubs for the players to enjoy, they might start a riot if that ever happened :lol

You cant be srs if you think 2 weeks off isnt enough rest, its not like hes on the spurs & missing one game a week

think of it this way, MJ took three years off and he still came back washed up

lepon is only taking 2 weeks of so he's going to come back looking like bruce willis at the end of diehard

He came back rusty, but MJ was far from washed. Now you further showing your trolling ways. Please ban this dude from this thread. All he does is troll bait.

ok put it this way, because I think you're missing how much of a strain pro sports puts on the body.

where do you think bron is now..75% of where he was? 80%? 85% You think 2 weeks will get him back to 100%? You remember they were off July to November 2nd right? No Olympics this year. So he's already had 3 months off, give or take...and he's used up all of that 'rest' in 20 games? And you think 2 more weeks will do, what? It's like a bandaid, give him just enough to keep going, before he needs to sit again.

You didnt add, training camp, preseason plus offseason training while on a strict diet,

So i doubt he had 3 months of rest

Bron just knows 2 weeks is enough time for him to deflect the blame when the time comes. If they are a low seed it can be well lebron was hurt so its understandable and if they go on a win streak its bron came back 100% and led them to the promise land #mvp
