To me the drop off in athleticism was just too drastic.
There has to be more to the story. He was killing in the Finals.

Hes going through some issues but, hes pacing himself to deactivate chill mode for the playoffs

Ppl just over exaggerating with the decline in athleticism, why play hard for the whole regular season when you did it your whole career & now you're finally paying for it

Sometimes you have to sit back & say
" playoffs is the only thing that matters"

Ty Lue used to have braids. Of course they will gravitate towards him

I've seen LeBron miss at the rim and get blocked more times in 20 something games than the last few years combined. You might be right tho, let's see how he looks when he comes back.

I think I speak for everyone when I say the NBA world needs a springy Lebron. Old Lebron isn't as entertaining.

I think we're done seeing springy lebron on a consistent basis like we are used to, no doubt we will see it throughout the postseason tho

if bron needs a rest after 20 games...will he need a rest every 20 games now? so we can expect 3 more of these '2 week rehabs'?

He played 11 seasons straight without taking 2 weeks off, why cant he take 2 weeks off

Why is it bothering you?

Exactly, what is dude talking about? :lol

Ibaka is going to continue to provide excellent spacing and with Russ/KD both healthy, they need as much space in the lane as possible so him improving his shooting makes them more championship ready rather than less.

agreed. with the way KD/Russ attack, absolutely no need to clog the lane with Ibaka low block touches. He can still be active/flash to the rim and finish. He still does that well, imo. When Ibaka has that 3 going, its really hard to defend OKC. Adams can continue to landlord the painted area

Bron sets the tone for respecting Blatt, IMO. What the hell have Kyrie, Love, Waiters accomplished to "only respect NBA accomplishments"? That's silly. Those young guys will definitely follow LeBron. He's setting the tone there.

Ummm...I don't know...maybe; accomplished making it to the NBA?

you guys also have to understand lebron is built like no other. after 11 season of playing like he has with that weight on them knees imagine that.

four straight finals appearances plus olympics too dont help either

because that's not true lol. don't buy into what they're selling you. dude has had pretty of rest. he got a **** load in MIA. all of the island getaways and boat parties while they were down there. yall talk like the olympics is every year. 4 straight finals is tiring no doubt, but if 2 weeks is the measure that will get him back to 100%, then he cannot possibly be that tired.

contrary to popular belief, my problem is not with him taking time off. It's just with the reasoning they're giving for it. If you're injured, or have nagging soreness, say that you need time to heal. When the word 'rest' gets thrown around, its just like, really bruh? you need a vacation? Already? you need some time off? you sleepy? What'd you do in the offseason?

Reports out of Cleveland have been saying he's been playing injured since the start of the season, and his pain was felt severely during the Xmas MIA-CLE game.

Pretty sure the severe pain in question that was felt in Miami was a broken heart and a case of "I've made a huge mistake"

You can't move the Hawks. Atlanta got too many strip clubs for the players to enjoy, they might start a riot if that ever happened :lol

Jalen Rose was saying on one of his podcasts, if the Hawks were to move, players would front the money to keep them in ATL, for that very reason...

Lebron should have manned up and told Gilbert to fire Blatt if he wanted to sign him in free agency. It would have been done and forgotten mostly. And most people sould have understood. Dragging it out like this and being passive aggressive isn't helping anyone. Instead of a power move he chose to be a class clown and get everybody to not pay attention to teacher lol.

I'm not convinced its just about X's and O's and basketball. His camp wants to exert the power it was denied in Miami.

I'm honestly surprised at how little the Kevin Love sucks thing has taken off in here.  i think there's a lot of weight behind it

By just reading these last 3 pages, you would swear Lebby is 36 years old and nearing the end of his career - and Kevin Love is washed up garbage, and isn't putting up a double-double every night...

..talk about prisoners of the moment

The craziest part isn't prisoners of the moment.
It's that everyone initially, and I mean EVERYONE in here said "Lebron had to be hurt or something we don't know, No way he could lose a step like this in 6 months".

He comes out and said "I'm taking 2 weeks off, my knee needs attention", and even the logical guys are like, "nah b, nah son, my nizzle is washed like a dish rag" "it's clear he had lost a step" "anyone with eyes can see he's lost it".

Nobody believes it's his knee, now that is some prisoner of the moment side with the popular opine type stuff, wack **** too.
Flame on though with the group thuggin and groupon thoughts.

I'm beginning to see the what the thread has meant about you. You really aren't the sharpest crayon huh.

i think its mostly because we know he doesnt actually suck. and he's only 26, with no known injuries. He's just not in a system thats working for him as he was in Minni. And that doesnt look to change anytime soon.

his flaws have definitely been exposed though. but its less glaring.

Funny story though.

Yo, I leave this thread like over 3 hours and 100 posts ago.

You want to know how many posts didn't include Lebron?

LMAO. Wow.

And FYI, you can't really be a dude and complain about how another man takes a selfie, and not look suspect. Just saying.

This Lebron hate(which is really Love) is classic though, ya'll ran urbetterthenme off for Christ Sake.
