Not sure when we started talking about crunch time shots, goal posts have been moved to Mexico by this point.

Oh well whatever makes you feel good about yourself, always good to start a new year with a positive attitude

I say Tim Duncan and Shaq were truly great for about a decade

Kobe Bryant was truly great for like 15 years
Duncan came in to the league great, in 1997

It's 2015 and he's still one of the best big men in a league full of great big men

The math aint add up to just a decade

Maybe I'm being misunderstood in the context of the 2000s, Kobe I believe gets the longevity over Shaq and Tim for being a top 3-5 player for the entire decade.

Nah man I'm a Spurs fan and Tim Duncan hasn't been truly great since like 2009 or so

I mean like superstar top 5 or 10 player in the NBA

No excuses here. Big on you wall, live to fight another day boss. Repped.
John Wall on KD's lanky release on his J: "I mean a guy that can beat a trap with that and can pull up over any defense, it's pretty tough."

So Shaq wasn't dominant as far back as '93-'94, his second season? So Duncan hasn't been great his whole damn career up to and including this year but especially from '99-'10?

Was Tim Duncan a top 3-5 player in 2008,2009,2010?

Was Shaq? Was Kobe?

They all were from 2000-2007ish.

In the context of era (decade spanning 2000-2010) which was being discussed lightly.

Duncan didn't even crack the top 10 in MVP voting after the 2006-2007 season. Lot of revisionist history.

Nah lets stop with this revisionist history when we getting knocked out by the Mavericks, Suns and Grizzles, nobody was raving about Tim Duncan being a superstar

Our best player back then was probably Manu

2013 was a revival for Timmy though

Youre trying to tell me that KD passes up tough shots that he should be shooting instead , that situation theoretically will occur most often when defenses are locked in crunch time.

well it turns out KD shoots more in those situations than just about anyone. So the idea that he's passing up shots and not shooting enough is pretty silly. he's shooting more than anyone.

Lin and Boozer balling.

Lakers been looking like a different team recently.
lin needs to get some stops tho
