We were doing so well with Napier finishing games but now the poor boy can hardly even hope for 5 mins a game while Cole/Rio continues to stink it up some more. Lucky that Whiteside is starting to see some minutes, hopefully they will give him more but they really gotta get a handle on that PG situation, It's terrible right now

Speights ran from gun-wielding SF felon

Marreese Speights stands 6-foot-10 and weighs 245 pounds, but the Warriors big man ran from a group of gang members who pulled a gun in downtown San Francisco early Monday morning, according to a KTVU report.

Speights was outside The Cellar, a downtown nightclub, when convicted felon Michael Lamont Jackson, 28, allegedly brandished a firearm in a parking lot across the street with eyes for Speights' gold chains.

Speights ran from the situation, according to the report. No one was injured and police officers arrested Jackson.

Speights, 27, is averaging 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 18.1 minutes per game for the Warriors this year, though he recorded just six points on 1-of-8 shooting Monday night against the Thunder.

That is some BS, they want him to knuckle up with dudes with guns just because he's tall. I'm glad Mo is alright and having a good year.

wall rose and westbrook the fastest imo. i think both westbrook and rose are equal but think theyre both faster than wall by a hair. rose got them both by explosiveness and quickness...but he pays for it constantly as we all see

rose is on some goku/ rock lee  ish. dude yells kaoiken times 30 before he attacks the basket and sacrifices his bones

Rose's current slump is a combo of him not getting the same calls he was getting(after building up his attack rep with refs) & that making him settle for bs long threes & the increase in his minutes since the bulls cant ever stay healthy.. he will get right especially w/ games vs elite guards cuz they always wake him up

The hunger games? That garbage that ripped off battle royale and made it a teen soap opera saga? :lol

And that was the day marreese found out other people are capable of shooting as well

the comparison & the final thought couldnt be more off offset
In terms of athleticism he isnt the same

The 3 point attempts are showing that

you only checkin sc lowlights ... im actually watching

the athleticism is 100% there but his timing & handles arent

he starts all games attacking/or being passive to get the squad going ... when he doesnt get calls he thinks he should while attacking he slowly drifts toward those long threes. sometimes its inbetween & it will turn into a cutting/floater night sprinkled with 3's other times it the reverse & he builds a house mid game. BUT when going against elite guards who attack him he's had some great games & im expecting nothing less tonight vs Wall. no even mentioning the start of the season all those attemps were horrible misses & now they are roll around rim outs or just off the back of the iron....aka they will all start falling soon hes just slowly working himself back into form

The saga of ex-Seattle SuperSonics center Robert Swift continues to get sadder and more sordid. The 29-year-old Swift, the 12th-overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft straight out of high school, was arrested in mid-November for alleged possession of a sawed-off shotgun after authorities searched his room in the home of his friend, a suspected drug dealer. Swift admitted to being a heroin addict and was thought to have served as muscle for his friend and dealer. It was the latest incident in a series of unfortunate stories involving Swift, who crashed out of the NBA in late 2009 following several injuries.

Swift was arrested again Tuesday for another alleged crime. Amy Clancy of KIROTV.com has the story:

According to sources, the 7-foot-1 former NBA basketball player and 28-year-old Carlos Abraham Anderson of Everett put masks over their faces and attempted to rob a home in broad daylight. Witnesses notified the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

“I believe there were a couple of people who called in, they saw masked subjects on the property, reported that at least one of them was armed with a weapon, one possibly with a baseball bat,” Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Shari Ireton told KIRO 7. “It appeared they were either trying to make an entry or knocking on the door.”

Sources told KIRO 7 that Swift was armed with multiple weapons when he was taken into custody.

The 29-year-old Swift has already been charged in King County Superior Court for possessing an illegal sawed-off shotgun. The weapon was found – along with a cache of other weapons – in the home of his Kirkland roommate late last year.

When Swift failed to show up for his November 26th court appearance in Seattle, a warrant for his arrest was issued. Ireton confirmed that warrant was one of the reasons Swift was booked into the King County Jail in Seattle instead of the Snohomish County Jail in Everett.

Clancy adds that authorities are still searching the suspects' car in connection with the planned invasion. It is possible that Swift will see further charges if that search uncovers anything else, although that is just speculation at this point.

It is hard to imagine a sadder state of affairs for Swift. He refused to abandon and eventually left his foreclosed-upon, trashed home in February and March 2013, suggesting serious issues. November's arrest confirmed those fears. The fact that Swift failed to appear at his court date and has now been arrested yet again only adds to the impression that he needs serious help.

funny how the "rose rule" is costing Kyrie basically 9 mill once he misses the asg
