Hey man, our owner has the deepest pockets in the NBA and there's no salary cap for coaches. We could hire Thibs as co-head coach and pay him what Doc makes. Do it Ballmer!

right because they're winning a ton with thibs at the helm. they get washed every year in the first or second rd. sure you can blame injuries, but you can also say a lot of the injuries are because of overuse and his inability to rotate lineups.

I would be a better coach than Byron, so I'd welcome Thibs. But also want to see Kobe make it through the preseason next year...so maybe not.

Last year he had a really good year and Kyrie had a very down year. Worst of his career. So yes, last year you could definitely say they were comparable players production wise. That's just a fact. No one was taking IT over Kyrie tho.

inability to rotate line ups? thibs has won with lineups featuring a good dose of taj, aaron brooks, dunleavy and snell. those guys are far from being a good 2nd unit. not to mention kirk hinrich played the 1 for a large part of last season.. thibs does a lot with very little. chicago owners would be stupid to get nothing in return for him because dude is a solid coach
how many teams/coaches have lost their star player for the better part of 3 consecutive seasons, and still made the playoffs?

bulls have over achieved without rose. under thibs butler and noah have become much better players. pau looks reinvigorated under thibs. yeah thibs' biggest knock is overplaying his guys, but that's something that can be fixed with better depth.
