Hit me yesterday how it was only three years ago the Philadelphia 76ers were playing a Game 7 to go to the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals.

... to now, when Robert Covington was only their leading scorer because Tony Wroten was injured is real. :lol

Not 1 person on the Sixers in those pictures is there anymore. And all of them were in the playoffs this year for other teams.

They knew that was as good as it was going to get. That team was at its peak but the organization has higher aspirations and thats a championship.

That Sixers squad was so easy to root for. :hat

I like where they're going now a lot better though, can't wait to see what they do in the draft.

I wonder where Paul Millsap ends up next season

Would you retain the undersized Millsap/Horford frontline if you're Atlanta?

I wouldn't mind seeing Millsap in Houston if they don't think Jones/DMO are the answers next to Dwight

Thibodeau went to the mound about 50 feet away with the bucket of baseballs and started throwing one after another until sweat was pouring off him on the hot, humid afternoon. For perhaps an hour, Thibs practiced his throw. Almost all of them were perfect as Thibs still is a pretty good athlete and despite a late night appetite still was in good shape before knee surgery to come. But another and another. Like his practices and walk throughs in his philosophy of life and basketball, it's in the preparation and the building of habits.

But there was more than just throwing the ball.

Thibs practiced walking the 50 or 60 feet back and forth; he practiced a wave, which he would do so casually and professionally that night. A little league team showed up after a while to practice on the field. Thibs persuaded them to give him a little more time and again he went through the routine as they watched.

I think if ATL wants to compete they gotta get a real rim protector.

Milsap/Al got exposed against real size.

Well see if Kerr can really coach next season :lol

Love the hire by the Pelicans. That offense gonna be dope to watch :hat

Gentry got hired?

You guys speak highly about Gentry, and I won't disagree (honestly don't remember his teams when he coached) but what separates him from typical retreads?
