Gentry with The Pels is really dangerous... They gotta get rid of EG first tho.. Wit Reke & Jrue he simply isn't needed.

Reke really seemed to be getting into a groove for the Pels in the second half of the season.

I gotta send him away for a spot up shooter & a pick

I also realized that New Orleans could be a major Player in FA this year if Gordon

A) Declines his player option
B) They trade him for a future pick and a role player.

If he simply declines the option

You have a Promising Young team, AD, & Alvin Gentry who has led two extremely great offenses in this league.

The roster would still have

Reke
Pondexter
AD
Ryan Anderson
Norris Cole

the pelicans gotta be an extremely attractive landing spot for any major FA this year..

Boston played at a higher pace this year, but improved their defense anyway. Up to #12. Now he has more talent to work with.

Let's be real eg ain't turning down **** so hopefully he buys in to gentry system and become a lethal shooter. If u can bring the best out of these guys it could work. With ad being just ad and tyreke being great at getting to the rim and kicking out when needed ad and jrue and Anderson just gotta knock down open jumpers

I do think Gentry's offense could really help this squad.. But getting a better Big man next to AD could be much more helpful then EG.. I honestly feel that a Jrue and Tyreke's game will benefit much more if they could simply get a spot up shooter next to them rather then a guy like EG who tends to hold the ball. His skillset is good but imo it's not really needed on this team for them to flourish.

And they REALLY need a bench... If i'm their GM i'm shopping EG for a shooter and see if i could get some young prospects back.. Their seems to be a ton of teams like the Kings, Suns, Celtics, Jazz etc who have stockpiled immense young talent and may need to get rid of them for a veteran scorer.. EG only being on a one year deal can really help also.

If no team made 1 more roster change, I'm cool on just watching what the new coaches do.

The Hawks will have around 22-24 Million in cap.. With Milsap & Carroll off the books... I i' them i'm Throwing Every Dollar i have at Gasol and then trying to get Carroll back after.. They would basically become a better version of the Grizzlies except their in the East.. meaning a big chance at the NBA finals
