As feared, MRI has revealed a torn Achilles’ tendon for Lakers guard Xavier Henry, a league source tells Yahoo. He'll miss rest of season.

Yikes. Feel bad for the kid. I wish him a successfully surgery and speedy recovery.

Damn, that's horrible.

Oh wow, honestly had no idea he was on the Clippers now
I don't blame you. I'm sure there's plenty of Clippers fans who don't know he's on the team. Based on what I've seen so far, his current ceiling looks to be situational fouler.
So he's basically filling Ryan Hollins role

@Lockedonsports: Last 82 regular season games Marc Gasol has been active the Grizzlies are 62-20

New Adam Silver interview.

If you could instantly change anything about the NBA, without having to negotiate the terms or compromise your position, what change would you make?

I would have a harder salary cap. I still think it's unhealthy for the league when a team like Brooklyn goes out and pays an exorbitant luxury tax in order to give themselves a better chance to win. From a league-office standpoint, the ideal league would be for all thirty teams to compete based on the skill of their management and players, as opposed to one team paying more to get better talent. So creating a more even system would be at the top of my list. And I'll give you one more: I think it would benefit the league to raise the minimum age from 19 to 20.

he shows up when they play scrubs but was a preteen when they go against a legit squad like Washington. I'm not buying it.

They cant all be gems. The age cap is dumb and needs to go away though

This is the first time I've seen Orlando being blown out this year.

They've had some good close games, and their losses are to top teams.

Sad to say but if Orlando had Tobias Harris', this game might look different right now.

hows that going for Brooklyn... Seem stupid of him to mention Brooklyn like its unfair cuz they have a dynasty or something going on....

that just shows gotta get rid of the cap.... The age limit as well....

I'd rep that, but I used them all.

Tired of this Obama, Socializing and Welfare program thing. There should not be an even level playing field. If a franchise/city grosses enough and flourishes, why can't it just be that way? Why must this Skeletor dude put his hand in and make it even? Makes no sense!! If they suck enough, then keep letting them eat lottery picks. They'll turn it around sooner or later.
