The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics made a strong final push to trade up into the top 10 in the draft, culminating in an offer to the Charlotte Hornets that included as many as six draft picks, including four potential first-rounders, for Charlotte's No. 9 pick, sources said.

Speaking of nicknames, if Earvin is magic then D'Angelo is....

hating cause I wanted him in a sixes uniform, but thats a perfect nickname. Lowkey I want him to turn out like the last prospect I really really liked in the draft..........Evan Turner.

Thunder should've really tanked the season so they could've got in top 5 then come back with Porzingis or Hezonja coming off bench....just imagine if they had gotten top 3 pick Okufor would've been epic they should've held out westbrook with some fake injury it would've been like when Spurs tanked to get Duncan

I fired off so many curses last night. I apologize again Ska.

I've come to terms with Zinger. Hope he turns into a star.

I think he'll be a very good player in the league. But a couple years from now.

If the Knicks want to really do the rebuilding correctly, they need to find a way to get rid of Melo.

Sucks that you guys as fans have to sit through this **** show. As I said before, Knicks fans deserve better.

Knicks should have traded Melo to the Lakers for that #2 pick, Randle and a future 1st rounder. It was time for Melo and the Knicks to split last summer, that idiot just selfishly prolonged the process.

In order for it to maaaybe be worth it that he stayed they'd need to sign DeAndre, Wes Matthews and some other top free agent point guard besides Rondo that can shoot the ball. And they'd need Zinger to be able to play heavy minutes this season and ball out. Or else this is just gonna be another waste of a year for Melo AND the Knicks.

I had the trade idea between the Celtics and Sixers; Okafor for Smart, Hunter, Sullinger, and the Nets picks (2016 pick and 2017 pick swap).

The Celtics get their star prospect and the Sixers get actual NBA players and even more assets (they don't have anything 2017 related in their cupboard).

What the **** would Jared Sullinger or Marcus Smart do to be worth trading one of the best young post scorers I've ever seen? Hunter we could have probably got just by packaging our 35 and 37 like we should have.

Sullinger and Smart are both just average NBA players. We should be able to get better packages than that.
