They do their own logo and branding but it seems like adidas is in control of the jerseys. the black bucks jersey is pretty much the exact same as the black clippers jersey

Doubleday and Cartwright definitely designed the uniforms. They put up concept sketches on their site back when the UNIs were announced.

Adidas doesn't actually design uniforms. They almost always outsource with other agencies

I don't think Nike will be that much better either, every nfl jersey is the team logo and colours on the same template

Football jerseys have traditionally been meh tho. Adidas has no excuse for their monstrosities, we've seen sharp looking basketball jerseys before

they've had a very few good ones but mostly really bad.

the cavs rebrand is pretty cool. like those blue alternate and the white home jerseys are really nice as well.

the wizards new jerseys were a major improvement over that gold ish...

warriors uniform change was fire.

Feel like some of you guys are incredibly picky. Maybe there's nostalgic reasons because it's very easy to fall in love with what you grew up on. 90's may have been better sure, but that doesn't mean the current state of the leagues jerseys are bad. I'm not sure if we're nitpicking a select few or saying most of them are bad. Its weird, some of these new jerseys people either love them or hate them, no inbetween.

The NFL's jerseys are pretty darn simple. Common template across the board for the most part.
Baseball is the same.
Hockey jerseys are sweet.
Soccer is as bad as it gets. T-Shirts with nothing but advertisements.
The NBA is just fine in the grand scheme of things IMO.

This hornets team is going to struggle to put points on the board. They kinda need Kemba to be a scoring threat

People need to stop posting this graphic. The reason LeBron hasn't beaten many 50-win teams in the postseason is because the Eastern Conference has been complete garbage his entire career. Since 2006, LeBron's first playoff run, the East has never had more than four teams make the playoffs with 50+ wins. And that includes LeBron's teams. Most seasons, it's only been one or two other teams. If the maximum number of 50-win teams you can play is one, maybe two, per playoff run, then it's kind of hard to compete with someone like Kobe, who has gone through Western Conferences where every playoff team has 50+ wins.

Now, let's look at the teams LeBron lost to in the playoffs. A 64-win Pistons team in '06, a 58-win Spurs team in '07, a 66-win Celtics team in '08, a 59-win Magic team with a peak Dwight Howard in '09, a 57-win Dallas team in 2011, a 62-win Spurs team in 2014, and a 67-win Warriors team in 2015 (playing without his two best teammates). His only "bad" loss (record-wise) was in 2010, the infamous Celtics series that was just bizarre to watch. But he's actually beaten pretty much every team he should have beaten. It's not his fault his conference sucks and is so top heavy.
