The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games Thread 🔥🥇🥈🥉

I dont see what's so great about Schiffrin. I definitely can't do what she does and I only watch skiing during the Olympics, but she gets so much hype and she's not even that good. 🤷‍♂️

She is that good. Also has two gold medals from previous Olympics. The "snow" they're all skiing on is different than what they usually run on (it's all fake snow) and Schiffrin skis so aggressively that she overdid it the first 2 events. This downhill event looked like she just wanted to finish it and get over this mental block. Shes a ****ing monster otherwise.

She's more of a slalom specialist than the pure downhill speed events, her last event the combined is where she has a shot in getting a medal this olympics

Downhill skiing is so intense. They all look like they're gonna crash hard. It's nerve wracking.

most of the winter sports ain’t no way in hell I would get anywhere near trying attempt any of that shh

but same goes for gymnastics, skateboarding.. shhhh trying pull off some of the shh they do in diving

just hitting the water normally after jumping from the 10 meter platform hurts.. could only imagine if you f up trying do a flip and lane on your back or soemthing

BMX racing looked like the most dangerous sport during summer olympics cause EMTs were working there more than all the other sports combined

Yeah, she's a big name and hyped for a reason. Her and chloe kim were the big stars the last olympics. Think I heard her dad suddenly passed away not too long ago so that's gotta be tough.

how much of a difference is it from 90% fake (last winter Olympics) to 100%?

What's the difference in peformance between real and fake snow?
