You know BIG shut it down when R2D n LAD dropped also have you heard Madvilliany? I agree with a lot of the albums on ya list tho. The 18th Letter wasnt thatgood

Revolutionary Vol. 1 > Vol. 2 so it wasnt the album of the year for me.

My mind is hazy when it comes to years great albums drop. I'll try to get my years right with a list.

Fugees- The Score (so many bangers that year that could easily be here)

Common- One Day It'll All Make Sense

Outkast- Aquemini (same as '96..Black Star, Capital Punishment, etc.)

Dr. Dre- 2001 (SSLP and BOBS are right there)

Ghost- Supreme Clientele (didn't realize so much good music came out this year)

Jay- Blueprint (a lot of great albums but it stand out)

Cam- CHWM (barely beats out Lord Willin)

Diplomatic Immunity (a lot of great albums, but i'm trying not to have repeat artists

I agree, I actually think Finding Forever was better than Be. I don't think I'd call The Minstrel Show album of the year either though.

i'm definitely going to have to disagree with that statement. be? a classic? if you can put it up there with illmatic, and cuban linx, then more power toyou. i can't.

if be is a classic, how many classics does common have? three? four? damn, son must be the greatest of all time churning out classics every two years.

SMH @ The Minstrel Show which I do like over Be in 2005. Be is a vastly superior album....flows perfectly all the way though.

A year ago Lupe was one of NT's most hated. If you said you liked him, you were labeled a hypebeast/nerd.

I'm glad that's changed.
