Any Bib recommendations? I need some new ones. I might go with the Rapha Core, since I dont ride as much. Something in that price range or below.

I've got Rapha core bibs and they're pretty good - I definitely wouldn't buy their more expensive ones.
I got new ones from Stolen Goat recently and they're my favorite right now - nice pad, comfy fabric, only a single seam right up the middle and the rest of the fit comes from interesting stretchy fabric - but with good support.
There are a few boutique brands out there making some good stuff - but my answer for this is almost the same as everything else - fit is everything and what suits me won't suit you. It depends on your build and what sort of riding you do.

Rapha makes great jerseys and base layers, but stay away from their bibs. They all seem to fall apart after a year no matter the care.

Some cyclists died from that event. Not cause of a helmet but he ran into someone.

Thanks! I will check out Stolen Goat. Just the feedback I was looking for. I will probably purchase two new ones. I know Castelli has always had a good rep. Im just trying to avoid the amazon ones.

Guys, what's your opinion on the Kona Coiler? My buddy recommended it. Looking for a decent mountain bike but don't want to spend a ton of money given the state of the economy. I've heard they're great value for what you get.

i was on the block before and couldn’t see who he hit. i thought someone had walked out in front of him. he was flying down the hill

Just picked up a mountain bike to hit a light trail behind the house. Haven’t rode a geared bike in a while. Still getting used to changing gears properly.

So apparently there is a whole subculture of biking I was unaware of with all these Throne bikes or what not. I got notice that a group of these guys were trying to go over the Bay Bridge and decided to just go for the photos. There was about 50 of them but the cops caught notice and sort of shadowed them around at Treasure Island. When they got close to the freeway entrance, about 7 of them decided to go pass the cop and road across the bridge in traffic. Thought I'd share.

Here is my bike that I just got today. I didn’t want a fast bike, just something to ride around the city and also hit some light trails on. What is everyone’s opinion on proper seat height? Reason I ask is I’m trying to figure out what’s too high and what’s too low, not sure how to gauge that besides the fact that if it’s too high I’d have trouble getting my feet down at a stop light.
