The Boys | S4 Episodes 1-3 Out Now! | Amazon Prime

I don't really mind the week by week release schedule...

"People burn through it in a week or two. There’s an intense amount of activity and then it sort of fades, and then everyone's kind of off to the next thing. There’s so many great moments in season 2, we want to give it time to marinate so people can reflect on it and talk about it before they move on to the next thing and maybe just be in the conversation a little bit longer. I think a little anticipation for the fans is healthy, I think it helps the experience."

Then go to HBO!

We pay to BINGE!

Is this the olny show to try this staggered release? I dont care either way. I always got something to binge in between.

with MOST shows this is true, but with The Boys I felt like everyone was talking about it well after it ended and before you knew it they started posting about filming S2 and giving us sneek peeks on social media and then when they stopped the social media presence it was quiet for like a month and then they dropped the teaser and everyone started talking about it again and that led straightway into where we are.

The minute they said they were going week to week I KNEW this would be the excuse.
I'm rewatchin S1 now and will just binge S2 later.

They better not do this with the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Listen to this guy romanticize why he's holding us hostage.

Imma wait until Oct and then binge.

Nah.

Hulu does it, CBS all access does it a lot, HBO Max in on it right after they launched, etc.

So far I think only Netflix hasn't done this with a scripted show. They did do it with I think a live and/or reality show though.

Outside of Hulu, the others are known for standard week to week releases.

Its known.

Prime, Hulu, and Netflix is where people expect WHOLE seasons to be dropped.

HBO has always been week to week so nobody tripped on The Outsider or Chernobyl being week to week.

I usually don't mind week to week for the most part...but this is slightly more agitating because season 1 was all at once. So as soon as i saw season 2 was out i just expected to be able to watch every episode.

That being said they already seeded some good story lines for this season

The whole "supe's aren't born they are made" and then having homelander's kid actually be a born supe is going to be very interesting....unless i missed something where he injected his own kid with the V or something

I disagree cuz its a streaming service.

HBO Max and CBS all access have a ton of other shows where they dropped all episodes. Twilight Zone for example.

I got HBO on demand and it's all there for you.

HBO Max and HBO the cable channel are two different things. They got a grip of original shows they not airing on HBO. Search Party for example. I aint talking about the HBO shows. Raised By Wolves is basically a HBO Max exclusive. They need to stop playing and release the entire season.

Hulu kinda been pioneering that week by week **** though. Apple TV followed suit.

Could be plausible that the Son would be a 2nd generation Supe...Homelander got his powers injected and from there he can pass it on

But being that he was born in a lab and is still being monitored by the company, a good chance the boy had his powers injected at birth also

Man, I thought Homelander just liked breasts but dude has a legit mom fetish.

Didnt even notice homelander was the homie Lucas Hood from Banshee til last week.

I need to know who the hell stormfront really is. Old racist masquerading as a young alt right millenial? Whats goin on?

I'm wondering how many more actors and actresses from Breaking Bad will be on this show.
:lol::smokin

Am I missing something? The Boys are wanted and they are all walking around not concealing their faces. Normally I would let that stuff pass but when facial recognition is brought up it is eyebrow raising.

I find it a bit humorous that her name is Carol on The Boys. On Friends, her name was Susan, and she was married to Ross' ex-wife, who was named Carol.

Anyway, good episode this week.

on top of my disdain for Portland ()Stormfront being her and her name I immediately drew a connection with the website because obviously the writers and producers do their research.

but so far SF has plotted it really well. very progressive, liberal half shaved feminist from the current "woke" riot capital of the nation when actually she's from the deep south; racist and coming out of her self imposed exile to return from to the limelight. pre internet days of 1979 and in the social media era of 2020 as a completely different person

They actually did a pretty good job with her story. In the comics, Stormfront was a pro-nazi, racist dude so this twist is excellent, even though I hate her character with a passion.

Poor Aya Cash. She's getting dragged on social media for being a racist. She has to defend herself. She's an ACTOR. People have literally forgotten what acting is.
