My boy David Pellom that plays for Memphis is playing against his old team that he just graduated/played for last year (George Washington). Pretty crazy coincidence.

So far and what I'll probably stick with...

Elite 8...Florida/Cuse

Mich State/Iowa State

Arizona/Creighton

Louisville/Michigan

Final 4...Florida, Mich State, Arizona, Michigan

Arizona over Michigan State in the final.

Does anyone think Wichita State can get out the Midwest? I'm looking at who they might have to go through and I can't see them doing it

I love the shockers...but watching Uk this past week or so...i dont see them beating the cats in that 3rd round (assuming uk beats kstate). But then again, the shockers are really damn good.

I know I'm late but how the hell did SMU not get in? That lost to Houston that bad or no respect for that conference ?
No respect for their Non-con...and you really can't blame the committee too much.

Yeah I just found it strange since they were in the top 25. Forgot they really didn't play nobody early on.

They could lose in the round of 32 or run the table, 34-0 and I'm still trying to figure out if they're legit or not :{

I don't see how Michigan gets past both Duke and Louisville.

Duke is a bad matchup for them in the first place.

They basically play the same way, but Duke is better at it.

L'ville going to use that 4 seed as motivation. I can already see pitino installing that into his players that they arent respected.

Smooth ride to the final 4 imo specially if Russ plays like he has

hood gonna need to play out of his mind for duke to go far imo

I need 5 games of him and Bari both playing like they did against UNC at Cameron and Sheed to be aggressive like he was against NC State :lol

Additionally I need our guard play to be consistent on both sides of the ball.

I'm confident Wichita State can get past Kentucky. Only match-up I'm looking forward to is a rematch between Wichita State and Louisville.

First impressions of this bracket:

South
Honestly think the path for the Gators couldnt be better to get to Dallas. Kansas w/ shaky guard play, Embiid likely won't be 100% game ready. Syracuse major problems scoring recently, UCLA I'm liking late, but they can be inconsistent at times. VCU lost one of their scorers, Ohio State can't score. New Mexico is dangerous with Kirk/Bairstow down low, I like them to get to the Elite 8. Gotta do research on Stephen F Austin, think theyll make some noise. Give me Florida-New Mexico in the Elite 8.

East
Lots of possibilities here. Love Virginia but just dont think they score enough points night in, night out. Obviously, Michigan State is the popular pick to go far and with Izzo and a healthy squad, they are correct thinking this. Carolina you just dont know which team shows up, I love Iowa State's squad, have all year. Ive always thought Villanova just really isnt all that great of a team, I think Shabazz and Boatright get past them, but have Mich St-Iowa St, Elite 8 matchup.

West
First thing that screamed to me was Oklahoma State as a 9. One of the few teams that has 4 guys that can get you 20 points any given night w/ Smart, Brown, Nash, Forte. I really don't think Arizona is all that great, I just dont feel em as much as others do. So unsure about Creighton as well, just dont think their supporting cast around Dougie is good enough when they dont hit from the outside. Love Oregon and what theyve done last 3 weeks, dangerous team. Wisconsin I think will have one of THOSE games offensively at the worst time in the tourney and will be bounced early. Have Oklahoma State-Oregon in the Elite 8.

Midwest
Amazing region here. I could easily see 5 of these teams being good enough to win it all. WichitaSt-Kentucky 2nd round game will be great, I love the attitude the Shockers have had all year with their run. Think it'll serve them well here. Obviously Louisville being heated about their placement seed wise will spark them, and of course they are playing maybe the best ball of anyone right now. Just don't see anyone beating them here. I think Tennessee is a major sleeper here, as physical as it gets. Officiating might do them in, but they can make noise. Want to pick Mercer over Duke so bad because of how often Ive seen em play against FGCU. Theyve got the depth, good guard play, Langston Hall is a smooth player. Havent had a good shooting game from the outside in awhile, they might be due for one in the biggest stage theyve ever played in. Still think Duke eeks one out. Michigan I'm not too high on, all it takes is GRIII to go ghost for them to get knocked off. I like Louisville-Michigan in the Elite 8.

Thoughts?

Duke seeded #3 = a damn joke

Wichita & Arizona going out in the second round.

Watch out for UCLA. They stepped up to Arizona and can make some noise if Anderson continues to step up.
