The College Basketball Post

I mean everyone is talking about Kentucky - Wichita and Kentucky going far... then Oklahoma St - Zona and Oklahoma St going far, and I'm like ... what if the Zags and/or Kansas St win? :lol

Also am I the only one thinks Cincy can beat MSU?

:lol I feel like that with Harvard - Cincy, SFA - VCU, & UNC - Providence

i wanna see UCLA vs VCU...i wanna see how Slo Mo handles that pressure. the word is you can never speed him up. cant wait to see.

I just did a once through and so far I have Fla, MSU, OKSt, L'Ville in the final 4

Fla v L'ville in the chip with Fla winning it all. They're just too complete for me to see anyone but MSU beating them and I'm not sure i trust Appling enough to get that job done.

I've got Cuse, Sparty, Zona and Louisville right now.

And that's the problem for State. The only consolation is that we've been learning to win without relying on Appling's offense. Trice has stepped up in a major way, and Dawson is playing the best ball of his career.

Don't sleep on New Mexico...Alex Kirk in foul trouble the entire game when they played KU, Embiid basically had a breakout game. Neither of which are going to happen this time around (well, unlikely that Kirk will get into foul trouble again)

Tom Crean being fired would be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

He's been to the tourney twice six years...I don't care what type of state the program was in when he got it hat's embarassing. What other blue blood program would let that happen. Two sweet 16's and one of those he underachieved with. He's a ****** coach who should be fired but because of his ridiculous contract will probably be around forever :{

If Wichita beats UK, it won't be pretty easily. They have played no more than 2 tourney teams all year. I don't see them running through the Wildcats even though you never know what you're gonna get from UK each game. It's one of the early games that I'm looking forward to.

Duke is going to need some kind of consistency from Jefferson along with aggressive play from Hood and Parker. I'd take 6 points and 8 boards from AJ. And Rasheed is gonna have to make Russ Smith work if we meet them in the EE.

Well, if you don't care what type of state the program was in before he got there and where he took it last year and the year before, then I don't know what to tell you.

Plus...if not Crean then who? I'll take Crean over a lot of coaches.

This is well worth killing 15 min out of your day to watch...should get you even more hyped for the tourney.

Original vid was posted 4 years ago in another thread, but vid was down....

Wichita and Florida have very tough regions to play in

Western region for Zona tho man they got a walk in the park

I feel like every #1 seed was properly placed in there respected region this year

which has not been the case in the past

I wouldn't be surprised if Embiid just shuts it down.

Kansas coach Bill Self  says injured center Joel Embiid  is “progressing nicely” but won’t  play in the team’s first NCAA Tournament game Friday.

“He’s progressing nicely,” Self said Monday. “The medical staff feels good about where he is, but no, there’s no update on a timeframe.”

Heard some guest on The Herd this morning bring up a funny point about Wichita State's region. Essentially, they earned the #1 seed, but they're from a crap conference and played crap teams. They got their #1, but if they want to get back to the Final Four, they have to really earn it by showing they can beat some big dogs.

Amaker got the dogs to get past cincy. He's got guys that could've played at high majors
Got the dogs to get by a lot of teams IMO. Only loss by 6 to UCONN w/o Wes. Interested in seeing how they handle the pressure and physicality from Cincy, plus they stink on the defensive glass. Recipe for disaster against Cincy. Cincy won't allow them many open looks from 3 either.

Duke F Jabari Parker wins Wayman Tisdale Award as nation’s top freshman. Parker averages 19.3 PPG & 8.9 RPG.

He should, he has a long career ahead of him and I don't think it's worth risking his health to play in the NCAA tournament

Yeah, if Embiid can't play the first weekend, how effective is he gonna be the second weekend on (if he does come back)?

I might have to take NM over them, even though I said I wouldn't allow NM to fool me again.

That Okie State pick is high risk, high reward and I'm still struggling with it mightily...

The risk being 'Zona is probably etched in for Dallas if they win that one.

Is Markel Brown healthy?

He's not a good coach that's really all there is to it, it took him a whole season to realize Vic was his best player last year and still never used him correctly. There is no way this team was that bad to the point of missing the NIT. If it wasn't for a guy named Dwayne Wade, Tom Crean would be on TV by now. He is a nice guy but a ****** coach.

Crean is a pretty damn good recruiter but as an X&O's coach he's not very impressive

Plus dude just looks like a creep but :lol @ Woodson replacing him, I know he's alumni but come on
