Wasn't old enough to watch the fab 5 play back in the day, but after watching the 30 for 30 on them I was blown away and moved by their story. I personally think it was dope to see them at the game, I wonder if the players knew they were showing up or even understand how big a deal the fab 5 was/is. Anyways, I think it's cool to see the current Michigan players wear the black on black shoe/sock combo

I'm sorry you feel that way but to be honest the Fab 5 aren't the reason for that, UofM booster Ed Martin & Steve Fisher were the reason for that for those sanctions and the wilt of that program. It wasn't just Webber & the Fab 5, money was given to players for damn near a decade ie. Tractor Traylor, Maurice Taylor,& Louis Bullock that we know of. Hell they were bringing recruits to Ed Martin's home for god sake. All of which Fisher was well knowledgeable about. if anything you should thankful that the impact of they had on the game while playing for y'all kept the program relevant in College Basketball period even through those sanctions.

Smart move on Cody's part, I think he got a little over-hyped last year that when he failed to live up to expectation this year the pendulum swung the other way on him and that was a little to reactionary. I think he'll be a very solid player in the league, most of his issues are very fixable (aside from his wingspan).
Kids are going to get to play next year now that's for sure. Perea, Hollowell, Vonleh, all going to see major minutes, Troy possibly too.
