The College Basketball Post

Wow. I'm legit shocked right now. Can't say I saw that coming at all. I thought for sure he would be at UK or FSU.

Haha only in year do we get AW, Joel and Selden and still have the #2 class, lol.

Why would I want him? Lol, really? Besides being the best player in the country, he'd be on my team and not anyone else's... Alex Poythress can take a ******g seat.
i dont understand this. Alex Poythress isnt even bad, could be a lottery pick if you guys would try to actually develop him. This whole "if he isnt a superstar his first year in college then he's awful" attitude you UK fans have is outrageous.

Had a feeling it was KU the entire time. Best choice also. He's gonna cook!

Those twins might have helped too

Wow :eek Kansas came off, surprised me but with his brother playing at Witchita St it makes sense ... My Kentucky boys will be fine without him, if AP didn't come back I think Wiggins might have came. It's all good, can't wait for the season to start!

**** Kentucky :smokin

Clearly, the kid felt most comofortable with Self. Self gets the best out of his guys, will be exciting to see him rocking out in Phog next year.

College ball noob here, what is the rationale for choosing Kanas when Kentucky has so many other top recruits? Dude just didnt want to share the spotlight I guess?

Congrats Bro... You've been a thorough fan and boy oh boy did you get yourself a good one.

Appreciate that, sir. Can't say this makes the sting of the Michigan loss go away but its def. helping. Can't wait to see Wiggins in a KU jersey. Couple of months ago I would have thought you were crazy to even imagine this would happen. Hats off to Townsend and Self.

Well KU is a "Blue Blood" program just as prestigous as UK, and Bill Self is an AMAZING coach.

I going to guess he just felt comfortable.

There's nothing wrong with picking KU (unless you're Josh Selby or Xavier Henry)

no rationale needed for picking Kansas, dude. it's Kansas.

I'm actually not shocked at all...I had a feeling he would go kansas...Kentucky was just too stacked...there are only so minutes available. ..kansas lost an entire starting 5....perfect for him to come in and contribute. ...

Y'all have a CREW, no use crying over spilled milk.

KU lineup prolly looking like off the top of my head:

G- Tharpe
G- Selden
F- Wiggins
F- Ellis
C- Embiid

G- Frankamp
F- Greene
G- Rio Adams

Not bad but pretty much a whole new squad from last year. Will be interesting to say the least, pretty much every bit as young as UK is this year.
