Still hood classics

I don't follow all this **** so who is Big Loon though? He talks like he knows these dudes.
I wasn’t aware of him before he was on Brilliant. Seems like a big commercial for someone to fill the “edgy” space where CTG felt Tax would be flourishing. I didn’t look into it but I’m sure he’s apart of Black Effect. He was basically afforded the space to hate on Ak guised in an “interesting conversation “. You could tell listening to it that Schulz was surprised by the whole situation.

I stopped listening to that one. Dude was saying he doesn’t believe people should give Akademiks attention, then spent more than an hour on a podcast giving Ak attention.

Loon said something to the effect of Ak not being qualified to talk about the things that he talks about, but he himself is because “I’m a general”.

I about lost it when Schulz said “but what does that even mean”

I was introduced to him through IG. It kept pushing me his podcast 3 or 4 years ago. He would talk about situations in music and normally on others podcast. So his following, so I wouldn't be sure it's real.

Seems like he's grown enough to reach Charlemagne. He's one of the people who picked sides in the Rory & Mal and Joe split and talked about it a lot.

What I never liked is the YT dudes who analyze what others do. I never liked how a lot of his content was talking about others. You're listening to pods to agree with a side and not just be entertained? And then tell people about what you heard, felt and do and don't agree with? Why should I listen to you for that, when I can go directly to them?

It's weird how he got in touch with Ish and Flip differently. Messaging someone about him being with Joe. Then shortly thereafter you pop up with Charlemagne and Andrew? I'm disappointed in you going with that problematic person. Meanwhile let me mingle with these problematic people?

This is something I’ve seen become damn near a new standard over the last couple of years. People have been (and seemingly still are) making podcasts to discuss other podcasts, rather than to create content based on thoughts they formulated on their own.

And don’t get me wrong, a lot of content that exists out there has a modicum of being reactionary to some degree, but with some folks, that’s their only schtick. Like I said, I had to stop listening to the BI episode because son was harping for an hour about Akademiks.

Just say you don’t like the ***** and keep it moving.

as i’ve been watching more stuff on youtube, definitely notice all the stuff that is basically just commentary/reactionary based on some external event, person, & thing…at 1st i didn’t understand it but even outside of the fact that controversy/negativity is a draw the ‘appeal’ such that i can call it appealing is that things in that lane are kinda informative to all the endless minutiae of current goings on in popular/sub culture from the foolishness to the important
