This is something I’ve seen become damn near a new standard over the last couple of years. People have been (and seemingly still are) making podcasts to discuss other podcasts, rather than to create content based on thoughts they formulated on their own.
And don’t get me wrong, a lot of content that exists out there has a modicum of being reactionary to some degree, but with some folks, that’s their only schtick. Like I said, I had to stop listening to the BI episode because son was harping for an hour about Akademiks.
Just say you don’t like the ***** and keep it moving.
It's annoying, because you'll just want to watch a video of an event, and instead it's someone giving their summary and thoughts of the events intertwined. It's a hustle, but it's not sustainable. It's really that you aren't entertaining enough or known enough to make it on your own.
and at the same time these people wouldn't find it cool if someone did that to them, they just aren't large enough.
