The Combat Jack Show Thread

And that’s fine. I’m sure some people do look at Trump that way without any real logic. Be clear, the logic is there. Some people just choose to be uneducated.

If you want to make that statement, especially now, you have to offer some substance to support the claim.

It’s just uneducated people on both sides of the argument if there’s no substance. I can offer you examples of how bad Trump has been, can you offer examples to the contrary? If not, what’s the point?

Feels a lot like that Kanye ‘free thought’ without actual knowledge of the situation.

I really would LOVE to see the reaction Malcolm & the nation would have gotten from "i'm not my ancestors" blacks when they met with the Nazi's and tried to broker a treaty.

The amount of times they would have called Malcolm a **** & traitor would have been

Idk what y’all talking about but that’s facts. Shea butter twitter would crucify Malcolm for his past

Again it's completely pointless, I've seen it happen nonstop for the entire presidency, Trump should be used to replace illogical in dictionaries. The amount of delusion from his SUPPORTERS & DETRACTORS should be a case study.

No matter what's presented it's gonna be looked at under the Trump lens, and it's going to be discredited either way. there's rarely any objectivity & the convo goes nowhere.

Also i didn't know saying i don't hate every singular thing about a person was considered some attempt at "free thought"

Bruh delete this, this is a Mal type take. You realize a bunch of NOI followers didn't **** w that **** then too right?:smh:

Look up the actual history. Elijah had the Nazi leader George Rockwell come speak at Saviour's Day in 1962. Some people cheered but A LOT of people also booed. And that pissed Elijah off, he wrote about it in the official NOI papers.

The NOI has always messed with these white supremacist type dudes because they felt like they had common ground over their shared hate of Jewish ppl and the fact that they both thought black ppl should be separated from the rest of the population

Soon as Malcolm left the NOI in 1964 he wrote to the Nazi's and basically told them he don't have to hold his tongue no more and it will be war if they continue tryna mess with MLK...

What am i deleting it for when None of what you posted had anything to do with my comment?

Where did i say it was universally accepted back then?

My comment was solely to highlight how today people would 100% try to dismiss Malcolm, Elijah & the nation if this was to happen today. They would completely ignore the totality of the movement & try to "cancel" them for even thinking of talking with the "enemy".

under today's climate Malcolm would have NEVER reached his status or spread his message the way he did.

And i'm confused as to why your bringing up that MLK quote? considering that was the energy the nation had towards them from the get go.

That comment wasn't directed specifically towards mal, it goes for every individual on the show once they discuss anything the majority of people wouldn't agree with.

Also they started the show by saying Mal is "right leaning" and was dead *** about it  . Anyone that doesn't blame all of Americas problems on Trump or doesn't equate him with the anti christ somehow turns into a support.

Son started the show saying Trump is unfit for president, He's a horrible person, Has damaged the country etc etc, and he just pointed out that Trump has passed some positive policies..... apparently that's enough to make him a Maga supporter

The pod is becoming a huge echo chamber of Twitter logic where it's impossible to have balanced arguments.

And on a related note, with ALL the **** they talk about the "influence" of your platform.... and constantly condemning different artist for their business ties.... Yet he's increased spotify's grip on the Podcast side by multiple.... meanwhile Spotify's owner is literally donating to Trump's campaign.
I really don't have the energy to do this today G, mostly because i see that it gets nowhere.

****** treat trump like the Boogeyman & anything that isn't in that vein is ignored.

I don't think Mal is a Trump supporter. The problem is he was saying **** that's factually incorrect. Trump didn't take office then overnight the economy and unemployment improved.

I do think a lot of democrat _'s single out Trump like he's the source of racism and all we have to do is vote him out and it'll be sunshine and roses. America was f'ed before him. I'll be the first to say I don't trust none of these politicians. The whole game of politics is filthy and filled with racism. Biden is a piece of **** too. Hilary was trash. It just seems like some people try to point out "the good" Trump has done just be contrarian for no reason.

Mal just be talking out his *** when it comes to sports and politics :lol. I view his Trump take...as his Russell Westbrook is the best player in the NBA take :lol.

He just a guy who hears things that might be contrary....brings it up with no way to back it up. And just leaves the thought with....”I’m just saying”.

He gave to the same HBCU's that Reagan and both Bush's gave too. Meanwhile he attempted to erase everything Obama did while in office. My Brother's Keeper has been totally ignored.

So while racist Reagan was poisoning our communities, he set it up for all presidents after to give to HBCU's.

Oh wow, he freed a couple of black people. How many of his cronies did he free? I'm sure a pardon will be coming for Roger Stone.

So miss me with he's done some good. It's really naive.

What, empower racist?

My _, the Nation still **** with these type of dudes . Like I said, white supremacist and the Nation will likely always agree on stuff like hating the Jewish and the black separatist movement. The enemy of my enemy is my friend type ****. Farrakhan has met up with dudes like Tom Metzger, etc.

A bunch of ppl still mess with em and a bunch of ppl don’t. Just like it was back then.

The quote was to illustrate how convoluted and political this **** is. NOI Malcolm was orchestrating truces with the KKK/Nazi’s and insinuating MLK was a Uncle Tom. Post - NOI Malcolm was saying **** you to the KKK/Nazi’s.

When we say stuff like Malcolm would've never reached his status today, which Malcolm are we even talking about? MLK and Malcolm were constantly reexamining their beliefs and message, up until their deaths. Malcolm was seemingly becoming less aggressive while MLK was seemingly becoming more cynical. Today's version of them would likely be way different.

Facts and nuance. Imagine that.

I wouldn't say NOI hate the jewish. That's like saying they hate white people. They hate the acts of racism.

Malcolm and Elijah Muhammad did have meetings with Nazi's but it wasn't on some "were friends" "we **** with each other" type.

People have tried to compare that to Kanye meeting with Trump and it's not close to being the same. The NOI wasn't about kissing *** and being submissive. They agreed that black and white people couldn't co-exist. That there will always be racial tension.

"The Nation of Islam’s initial contacts with white supremacists had, naturally, been quite negative.

In one instance, the Nation of Islam bought a plot of Alabama farmland. Soon, a Klan-led effort leased all the land around their farm as an intimidation tactic — and the black Muslims found that their dairy cows kept getting shot.

But by 1961, Klan members began to view black nationalism as a pleasing alternative to the growing U.S. movement toward nonviolent integration.

As a goodwill gesture, the Klan even reportedly offered more than 20,000 acres of Georgia land to the Nation of Islam, intending to kickstart an exodus of American blacks to segregated homelands.

Speaking just before his 1968 death, Malcolm X said that he personally reviewed the Klan’s land offer, and brokered a truce between the two organizations.

“From that day forward the Klan never interfered with the Black Muslim movement in the South,” said X.

"It wasn’t just a pact of convenience. Rockwell seemed to genuinely revere black nationalist leaders, who had built a much larger and more organized movement that he would ever manage.

Rockwell told other Nazis that Elijah Muhammad’s followers were “admirable human beings in spite of their color.” The Nazi leader told Haley he admired Malcolm X’s courage — and even wished to launch a joint “back to Africa” speaking tour with the black leader.

“He must think I’m nuts!” was X’s reply

And in the eyes of white people Malcolm in the NOI and out was the same in white folks eyes. They was still calling him a "violent" person. He never wavered from his by his any means necessary approach and telling black folks to defend themselves. He was still a lil critical of MLK.

This is RIGHT before his death in 65.

No Malcolm would be accepted today. White people would be scared as **** just like back then and I don't know if that many black folks would accept him either because too many _'s act like they don't understand how people can grow and mature.

So you telling me, the Nation invited ppl they didn’t **** with to attend rallies and also speak at Saviours Day?

Edit: This not an indictment on the Nation, I've read a lot of Elijah's books. I don''t **** w the white supremacist **** tho

How I look at that is **** was a lot different back then. White people was blatant with their real feelings. Malcolm did a ton of interviews with white racist on their platforms. They stood their ground and Malcolm stood his. That don't mean he was buddies or f'n with them. Today people can't handle that level honesty. I don't agree with them having them speak but the point was to show how they really feel. They welcome anybody to attend a speech but their message don't change. The FBI would be there, Malcolm would point it out and keep talking about how evil the government is and white people are cave dwellers.

I feel what you saying about the open dialogue

But to me, when you’re chastising your followers for not feeling the white supremacist who you invited to speak, you’re ******* w them

This type of stuff seemed to be less Malcolm and more Elijah, btw. They had that Rockwell dude at a rally before Saviours Day and Malcolm lowkey clowned him

Yeah I mean some of the stuff I've read Elijah was very extreme and over the top at times and he had his faults. Man had 23 kids. :lol

But the overall knowledge and what he built with the NOI and the code they live by has been a big positive.

Mal's he's done some good President, denied systematic racism exist and is going to have a rally in Tulsa.

****** gave us a white funded Black movement with BLM that is prominently recognized by cats like Deray, Netta & Shaun King..... We have "Black Panthers" taking pictures of solidarity with cops during a global uprising, Hell all Martin was doing was preaching unity and they popped his head off broad day..... And we're questioning if Malcolm X could rise to significance in today's climate

NOI provides protection, discipline, education, food, health, business etc etc to black people. Their goals and agendas are clearly laid out..... i would LOVE to see the money they receive in donations compared to the "BLM MOVEMENT".... that would tell us all we need to know in how the general public would react to someone of Malcolms ilk.

The NOI was doing security for Michael Jackson so they're donations was/is GREAT.

I've seen other black people say they hate Rizza Islam because "he's looking for attention" :lol :{

I'm like huh. Just petty ****. He's using social media the right way. He's using today's tools to get awareness out. Rizza don't have a criminal background Malcolm did and Malcolm went even harder. I think a good amount of people would accept him but it would be that smart dumb crowd saying "he's just hustling the community again" and the democrat type _'s DEFINITELY wouldn't like him. Malcolm was going hard on fake white liberals back then.

couldn't agree more dudes would have took a look at Malcolm's past & turned him into a meme :smh:

I get not agreeing with everything or having conflicting views with the NOI. What i just can't rap my head around is people willing to dismiss everything they done because they don't agree with 5% of their rhetoric. Those liberals are Scared to death of the NOI because they preach independence & true partnership & ally's.

People look at these super liberal "allies" who put on a display of caring & empathy, but once the smoke clears they offer no real solution that isn't dependent on white people. However you could vote, openly support, take photo opps etc etc all day & nobody will blink an eye.

You sit down with your enemies to have dialogue & figure out an actual beneficiary solution....... & your a **** looking for white acceptance. This line of thinking has got to stop. Seems like dudes want their feelings massaged instead of tangible solutions to fight this ****.

While I ageee with some of this....KANYE is still a bish 😌😌

I'm not sure what Kanye has to do with the NOI........

But i will say it's hilarious that the Maga hat wearing rapper is one of the few adhering to the NOI blueprint & buying ample land & investing in creating a self sufficient environment
