The most I ever seen Mal involved was when they had the porn star on stage when they were doing the live shows. :lol:

From a business point i understand it but he's still sitting here acting as if he's some kinda martyr for these dudes or something. If it was all business then say that, but to sit there and act like he's taking all the risk to "protect" them or be this savior for the group is nasty.

He essentially called them overpaid, unprepared, replaceable ****** who are only eating because of him. From the looks of it the main issue is between Rory & Joe.... and Mal just didn't automatically side with Joe the way he expected.

I can't blame anyone in this , because more often than not that's how business goes. But he could miss me with all that friendship talk after you do something like that. If I was Mal i would've called it a wrap also
 
The Mal **** is so weird cuz he is legit from the bloodline of Hip Hop royalty.

Not saying he should be crazy rich but I'd have to imagine his life isn't anywhere near as hard as the average Joe.

Joe did him dirty with the detergent comment etc. Even if Mal was down bad before, that's supposed to be your man's for real.

He wasn't wrong imo but in the name of whatever friendship they had he should have handled it better. BUT he is the boss of burning bridges.
I do think he's extra salty that his man's sided with Rory to question his character by asking for the audit.
If I already feel like you're not pulling your weight then you join someone in questioning my integrity, we definitely can't act like **** is sweet. If **** gets to that point I can't treat you like my mans.
Joe and the pod will be fine. I don't see a future in podcasting for either Mal or Rory. Don't think Mal cares anyway. They fumbled an "easy" bag.
Had Rory not let AK get in his head, they could have had the conversations needed to nip **** in the bud.
 
Akademiks wins the most out of all this. His twitch was straight comedy, dude has been on a tear with the content this year.

If he ends up doing a new show with Joe it will do numbers.

Ak been going crazy on Rory. I’m don’t remember verbatim, but I believe he said he don’t care what mental space Rory is in. If he don’t like you , he’s gonna bully you.

Ak is the Pusha T in this. Joe's dumbass was telling Ak all his business like he wasn't violating on Everyday Struggle. That Joe Budden Network ain't gonna last. He showed his *** this episode. He just looks like a bad person. It was entertaining to listen, but it should've never happened. Joe looks wild funny in the light, again. Idky anyone would do business w/ outside of something very short w/ a finalized end date.

That Ian dude sounded like a diddler, and Parks completely showed typically behaviour from his type. Mal was right in not sharing his detergent, and Rory is wrong for trying to peace up instead of snuffing Joe the last time he was on. Episode 437 is nothing but bad energy.

The only reason we know who those two are is because of Joe. If Rory was there from the jump, he should have got the paperwork right.
Again, we're on the outside, but from everything we've heard and seen, Joe was taking on the responsibilities & paying for everything.
As someone that's self employed, you can't ask for equity or see my books if you've never paid the engineer, paid for the tour, or negotiated the deals like Joe. That's just not how business works.

Them showing up late to meetings, missing work, being on their phone during the show let me know what time it is. IDC if you've been there from there from the jump, Joe not wrong about that. These dudes were getting an easy bag to show up twice a week and shoot the ****. Joe even encouraged them to do their own thing and use the leverage they from the show to start their own. **** and they didn't do a thing. They fumbled the bag.

I don't like Joe putting out Mal personal business when that's supposed to be ya man though. That was unnecessary.
 
Mal and Rory wanted a lot for a doing a little and signed a contract they clearly didn't understand like dummies. HOWEVER Joe is lame for sharing the **** about Mal being damn near homeless and needing to stop people from putting hands on Rory. That **** has nothing to do with this.

Them fools aren't passionate about podding nor did they take any risk but they wanted owner privileges while Joe does all the ground work? Nah it don't work like that friends or not.

They literally worked for Free for years. I don't have time to search old pods but it's been said numerous times that before the Spotify deal they were podding for nothing.

I get that Joe paid Parks, and he brought his namesake/ likeness to the show, there is no argument he deserves the lion share of the ownership but to negate all their work from day whatever is wild.

It also doesn't cost that much to do a pod if we keeping it a buck. So what they had better equipment etc but do you know how many people make podcast for less than 50 bucks a month. Let's be real.


Believe it or not Spotify deal is what legitimized the financial aspect of podding for The JBP, it gave them metrics etc and allowed them to really analyze their value.

The Spotify deal doesn't happen if Rory and Mal aren't there to build the pod up.

Half the time they don't even wanna be there. Those other pods probably sounds like **** and look the same too if there's visuals. At the end of the day, they signed contracts for a reason, don't be mad at the terms of it (or lack there of) .

idky you listening to his lying ***, especially w/ all the contradictions this episode is laced with. man was even about to go on about how liked isaiah rashad new album until parks dicksucking *** covered up for him. "I never asked for you to show up when my son was born" although I remember him saying he called Rory to come through when his son was born. Dude is piece of ****.
