I would not be surprised if they showed Benjamin getting potty-trained, smh. The movie failed to adhere to a point and was extremely spread out.
Also, it got pretty hackneyed when someone would die every 10 mins. And using Katrina was pretty banal imo as well.
2 out of 5 stars; would not recommend it.
I think if they cut out all the crap from the movie and focus a little more on the point, it would've been solid. I just don't see why they would have fillers in a three hour movie.
TDK was good but pretty overrated. There's a reason why it hasn't been nominated for Best Picture.Originally Posted by JohnnyRedStorm

If he was an old baby in the beginning of the movie and his body grew as time went on, he should have been a giant baby at the end of the movie.

The circumstances probably reminded you of hurricane Katrina, but it was never specifically stated in the movie. It was just a strong hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. Also, with a movie spanning an entire lifetime, of course there will be instances of death. Those are pretty significant events.
You say focus "a little more on the point." What is the "point?" Indulge me.

When imdb.com has it ranked 4th all time behind both Godfathers and Shawshank, then yes.Originally Posted by JohnnyRedStorm

So the movie is overrated because it wasn't nominated for Best Picture?

They did mention it specifically on the news at the very end.... and....Originally Posted by JohnnyRedStorm
They never said it directly, but it's on the TV, Hurrican Katrina warning. Then like the next scene the nurse comes in and says it's passing through everything will be ok.
