I really am surprised at the lack of viral sites/marketing for this film. I loved what the viral marketing they did with TDK, I was hoping the same if not better for this film.

The viral marketing for TDK actually started during the SDCC back in '07. I'm also surprised that the viral marketing hasn't been revved up yet, but then again, virals usually appeal to a fan base that will show up for the film regardless.

The viral for TDK definitely had a lot to do with the success of the film, it kept the anticipation at an extra high level until it came out. Ledgers death helped too but that viral was a genius. I'm guessing they don't want to do a viral for this film yet because it might be a dead giveaway on what Bane and Catwomans roles in the film.

yea, the viral marketing for the dark knight was great, but at the same time, you don't want to dilute it..

The pics of cast members on set have been all over tumblr. I honestly don't care about seeing these leaked photos/videos cause honesty I'm probably going to forget about them by the time July 2012 comes out. The only thing I'll probably remember heading into the film are the trailers.

With Bane and Catwoman using Bats' vehicles we better damn well see a new Batmobile.
To be honest though, I'm a tad disappointed. If this wasn't a Nolan film, I would be incensed right now. Nothing really Catwoman-like about the photo (other than the suit being black), but I'll hold off judgement until a full body shot comes out. They were going for a more "tactical" look, so it looks on par.
