How is driving your team down into fg range in the final minutes of a SB while down against the greatest show on turf not a "signature" moment?

Also love the downplaying of 49 when he was down 10 points heading into the 4th quarter....regardless of the circumstances, not many QB's would've pulled through in that moment.

My favorite TB moment in the regular season has to be his 5 TD's in one quarter against the Titans

Downplaying what? You cant prop it up to be some crazy against the odds event when he should habe never been in that spot to begin with

Its football, stuff like injuries happen. Cant penalize TB for that,it was still a steep hill to climb. Dont'a Hightower who made arguably the game saving tackle on BM before the pick made that tackle with a torn labrum. Both sides were decently banged up and crazy things happen in the SB,particularly with the Pats lately

That's a terribly lazy argument. Nobody propped up Carolina two years ago in the playoffs for beating that great cardinals offense... because They were on the 4th QB. Nobody says The Bills just shut out that steam roller of an offense in NE... because Brady is out

If Usain Bolt loses a track meet against Tyson Gay because Bolt has a broken foot do you really think people will say injuries are apart of the game?

Because it ultimately went to being a "Vinatieri" moment...he made the kick ( against the Rams, Panthers)

When you see the video packages, that moment is highlighted x10...not Brady driving down the field to get into field goal range...

Don't understand your point of view but we can agree to disagree...

Either way, none of Brady's super bowl appearances stand out to me... SB42 should've been his moment but that didn't work out so well

How? I'm just saying it wasn't as losided as you're making it seem injury wise when the Pats still had a banged up line and injuries to starters on D . At the end of the day,Seattle had every chance to put the game away up double digits with a quarter left.

The comparison isn't even close. Hightower doesn't equal kam, sherm, et3, lane, avril

No Mayo,Easley and undrafted rookies on the OLine didn't make things easy either...

And how many of them are as important as the LOB. Not to mention NE injuries have nothing to do with it being a signature Brady moment. I should have never even entertained that argument to begin with

Just saying there's nothing anyone could do about injuries, especially the fluke Lane one :x. It's a huge hit in any circumstance, let alone in the big game but they still had a solid lead near the end of the game. If they made just a stop or 2 on 3rd down they probably wouldn't have needed to comeback again right at the end.

My bad,I dont mean to derail anything ,just wondering how high the bar for a signature moment is in this thread

Carson in primetime tonight...:nerd:

That drive against the Rams in the Super Bowl was impressive as hell. 1:21 from their own 17 with no timeouts. Madden spent 2-3 plays saying it wasn't smart and they should sit on it for OT.
