I killed Shaun Alexander but that's in hindsight; in the moment I probably would have said he deserved MVP consideration in those few years

EUGENE (AP) -- Shaun Alexander stuck it to the Seahawks once again.

Facing the NFL's 27th worst rush defense Saturday, Shaun Alexander showed exactly why no one takes him seriously.

"I really don't know what is going on," Alexander said. "It just seems to me that ever since Steve Hutchinson left, I can't run the ball!"

Shaun couldn't be more right. Since his 2005 NFL MVP* award, he has averaged just above 3 yards a carry. Some people blame his age, but a report last week confirmed that his heart pumps kool-aid.

"I don't even know how to respond to that," Shaun said. "I've always thought I was a little soft, but look at my cast! I'm pretty hardcore! Who runs with a cast? Super Shaun! I've even got a witty commercial!" he yelled, then juked and fell over in front of me, his signature move.

When asked to comment on this situation, Mike Holmgren ate a donut.

An NFL D League is like the complete opposite of what they're trying to do with player safety though.

NCAA is a no cost developmental league.

This. The NFL needs to realize they are not the NBA when it comes to expansion, it's simply not the type sport you can run in that way. Everybodt wants an opportunity at the NFL, but dudes won't want to batter their bodies the same way NFL players do but for pennies
