This is like telling someone from Cali that LA and SF are basically the same place
LA and SF look totally different tho, those other 3 cities all look the same.
Yea topography and climate alone make Norcal and Socal vastly different.

Putting culture completely aside (I know that's kind of big a deal), I can definitely see how someone who's not familiar and doesn't have the eye for the more subtle differences in feel and appearances between NYC/PHI/BOS could view them as being a like.

wrong..

and I say this as a foreigner who has studied in the US (multiple parts of florida), studied in multiple parts of England and traveled quite a bit throughout the world

Yeah, they're completely different in almost every way.

Maybe this just a West Coast/East Coast disconnect

Atlanta was average to me, I do wish I would have gone to the Falcons game but I didn't wanna go by myself and I was there for work

How are you gonna tell me I'm wrong when talking about someone's hypothetical ability to inaccurately PERCEIVE something.

I don't see what your travels has to do with anything.

I've been to all 3 places.. I've seen my fair amount of cities all over the world

they're very very different from each other.. and have very different feels

and as I said above, NYC compares the most with London of all the places I've been

Been to Atlanta once and loved it, just wish I was there for more than 3 days, and not only for a track meet

been to Atlanta twice.. need to do a real Atlanta trip, I've heard some stories about the quality there..

1st time I was with my mom and family visiting some people for thanksgiving so couldn't do much, was also a kid..

then flew in for a weekend from London for my boy's wedding got in late Friday and had to leave sunday afternoon.. so was dealing with jetlag and had wedding stuff as soon as I got there
