Y'all not putting enough respect on Revis name.

Wait, so Revis has AJ Green make some unbelievable catches, some of which with no help and allows an Olympic Track & Field runner to blow by warrants people here saying he's "washed"?

Sure the man has lost a step, because he is getting older. But he's far and away from being considered "washed". It seems to me NT falls under the prisoner of the moment syndrome. A couple of game locking up some guys and we'll come back to people talking about Revis Island again.

What's up with Josh Norman? Haven't been watching Washington games. Never understood why he'd leave Carolina anyway. That defense made him look fantastic.

champ > revis

Yup for sure.

Champ and Woodson > Revis

tell em fam.

Revis was a better CB in his prime but Champ and Woodson had the longevity

I still think it's a tad to early to call Revis "washed" :lol

Josh Norman on the other hand, feel free to call him washed all you want

prime champ was a gawd and so was revis. champ maintained that status longer in his prime.

Bill Belichick's thoughts on the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection process: "Pretty confusing."

and champ bailey is not greater than revis at the height of each of their careers

yes he was though.

Welker headed to training camp this weekend....

Tom Brady, Wes Welker to play catch at Patriots QB's house

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Tom Brady has recruited Wes Welker as a throwing partner this weekend. The former Patriots receiver explained how it unfolded during a radio co-hosting appearance Friday on 560 WQAM in Miami.

"It was funny. I hit him up [because] I'm actually heading up to the game [Saturday], and I hit him up to do dinner Saturday night," Welker said. "[Brady] was like 'I'm going to be flying in from Ann Arbor later, but hey, how about that morning we go throw?' And I'm just sitting there, like, 'I was just thinking about dinner, but yeah, sure.' I'll get over there early and we can throw a little bit. That's the only thing we really have planned."

Brady is serving a four-game suspension to open the season as part of the NFL's Deflategate penalties against the Patriots. The star quarterback is being honored Saturday at his alma mater, Michigan.

As part of his suspension, Brady is prohibited from engaging in any football-related activities or discussions with current teammates at or away from the Patriots' facilities, which even includes working out or playing catch.

Welker, 35, was one of Brady's top targets during his six-year stint with the Patriots from 2007 to 2012, when he had 672 receptions and made the Pro Bowl five times.

"It was just funny," said Welker, who currently is a free agent. "I'm sitting there trying to have dinner and 'Hey, get your *** up here and let's go throw!' I'm like 'Geez, man, he's going to be running like two-minute drills in his backyard or something.'"

Welker appeared in eight games last season with the Rams and had 13 catches. Brady is eligible to return from his suspension after the Patriots' Week 4 game against the Bills on Oct. 2.

throwing = delivering game tape and current offense adjustments. you aint slick bill [emoji]128530[/emoji]

2006 Bailey > Any Revis season

facts papis.

Y'all not putting enough respect on Revis name.

He's washed now but Father Time is undefeated, he was a PROBLEM in his prime.

no one is saying prime revis wasnt great. were just saying overall, revis is below champ.

champ bailey was that dude :Nthat

r. i. p. after that ravens playoff game |I but 99 to 12 as an elite cb :smokin

With the rules circumvented in today's NFL to benefit the QB/WRs, I do wonder how guys like Deion/Woodson/etc. would have fared....

@franc

Real better sweet since Champ is my favorite corner that his career ended when the Ravens (my favorite team) had to put him to sleep.

In 2006, Bailey was targeted on just 39 snaps in man coverage. He allowed just four receptions and defensed 21 passes on those targets, according to ESPN.com. He finished that season with a league-high 10 interceptions.

Ed Reed is the best DB ever idc.

Probably no different than what the corners in today's game have to deal with.

The league is making it harder for corners to cover anymore. The rules set up to give them a huge disadvantage. You can only cover a guy so much until he's open. Besides, there are way more bigger and physically imposing receivers in today's game. Remember when Andre Johnson was considered an outlier? Now there are about 20-25 guys like him in the league :lol

TELL EM!!!

I think yall are selling champ Bailey waaaaaay short.. Dude was a BEAST...them stats for the 06 season is just disgusting.

I'll take Revis' business acumen over any non qb ever tho. Dude definitely knows how to get paid :hat

Portis was the best blocking RB since Payton, but gimme Champ Bailey back. :lol

Ed Reed one of the best defensive minds ever.

He's underrated when we talking about just GOAT defensive players period.

‏@AdamSchefter: Buffalo Bills firing OC Greg Roman, per league sources. Roman was NFL's top paid OC.

Guess someone had to go but it definitely wasn't gonna be Rex's bro :lol

I mean Buffalo didn't get into the Redzone until after the 2 minute warning in the 4th quarter

They all need to go.
But hey... too complicated to do with 2 games into the season.

Maybe after the 4th game and continually losing in cover 1.

WTF Greg Roman actually had that offense working

Rex Ryan is scum, man.

Roman has the offense looking like trash outside 2 deep bombs

The defense sucks too but Rob isn't the DC, Dennis Thurman is
